This is a gateleg ‘Maria Flap’ folding dining table, initially designed by Bruno Mathsson in 1936. This example was produced by Karl Mathsson in Värnamo, Sweden in the 1950s. The piece is appropriately stamped "Bruno Mathsson Design, Made in Sweden". This edition is done with a solid beechwood frame, and has a teak top. The piece measures 35.5 inches deep, 110 inches wide, and 28.5 inches high. We’ve just had this piece lightly refinished and conditioned, and it is in lovely shape. There is one thoughtful repair evident on the edge, please see photo. Overall, the piece is in very good condition. Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded on a case by case basis, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customer's responsibility to pay for return shipping and ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund the postage cost. If there is no damage to the item, but a return is approved, the buyer will be responsible for both the initial and return shipping cost. It is at our discretion to refuse the refund of undamaged goods. If an order is placed and you would like to cancel the order, please notify us immediately. Any refunds will be processed via the same means that payment was made.
