Description Armor designs for Reality Blurs "Iron Dynasty" RPG setting. Unlike the weapons, I was allowed a lot more freedom to make up these armor designs, though I still needed to base them on historical precedents whenever possible. Each design is wrapped around an invisible figure in order to maintain a focus on the armor rather than the character wearing it. Here is some character work I've done last year and finally decided to share it. Had a lot of fun creating this guy! Went with the armour set from "The Last Samurai". Sculpted in Zbrush, retopo work done in Blender, Marvelous Designer work for the cloth part, textured in Substance Painter and finally rendered in Maya. Hope you guys like!
