this is a long narrow island, 25" wide and about 9 feet long ...it has access to sink and fridge which is good...and stovetop and oven are off to the side...similar to the distance I think that I will have. THey say in the comments here that the kitchen is 12.5 wide x 17.5' long...mine is longer with a foot or so less in width (about 10.5 actually) so the shallow cabinets on the side of the island with the stools would be all wall.
