Capote coat

Have been talking with NWT. Leaning toward this blanket in the Voyager style, no hood. The other gal had blankets but not my style of colors.

Description This is a reproduction of a circa 1840's coat make from a Hudson Bay trade blanket and worn by both Mountain men and Native Americans of the fur trade period. The Hudson bay wool blanket was imported form England through the Hudson Bay company during the late 1700 and early 1800. Each blanket had black bars woven into them, this one has 4, which designated the size of the blanket. The more bars the more fur pelts it would take to acquired it.
