Engineering OKR tracking

Software engineering teams can now track the progress on their OKRs in DevDynamics. Using the new Goals module, teams can import their OKRs, connect relevant metrics and see the progress in real time. See goals that are at-risk to course correct as needed. You can export the goal performance reports to share updates with leadership, include them in reviews, or integrate them into your existing reporting workflows.

Control Charts with Outlier Detection

We’ve introduced control charts to help teams understand variability in their metrics and quickly spot outliers. The view automatically applies percentile-based bands to show what’s normal, what’s trending, and where work is deviating from expected patterns.

Scenario Planner

We’ve launched Scenario Planner, a planning tool that lets engineering leaders model alternative delivery outcomes before decisions are made. Forecast delivery timelines, evaluate trade-offs between scope, resources and deadlines, and simulate the impact of changes like shifting team allocations or adjusting scope. By grounding what-if scenarios in real progress data, teams can explore options and make more confident decisions about delivery risk and planning.

Deliverables

Our new Deliverables module enables engineering teams to track and manage major initiatives, projects and releases in one place. You can consolidate work across tools into a centralized view of scope, progress and effort, giving teams clarity on what’s completed, what’s in progress and where bottlenecks exist.

Cost Capitalization

Cost Capitalization helps engineering and finance teams automatically identify, calculate and report capitalizable software development costs. You can define custom capitalization rules, attribute work across contributors, and estimate costs. The feature also computes R&D accounting ratios and generates detailed, accounting-ready breakdowns by project, team and developer.

Signals

Signals surfaces AI-powered insights so you no longer have to sift through dashboards to understand what needs your attention. Signals automatically identifies emerging bottlenecks, quality risks and workload imbalances across your teams.

Developer Profiles

Get a clearer, data-driven view of developer contributions, skills and work patterns with Developer Profiles. You can see developer information like programming languages, areas of expertise, activity over time and more. This helps engineering leaders understand individual impact, support growth, and spot opportunities for coaching or optimization.
