Since I began experimenting with different types of paper to prepare the paper mache pulp, it sparked my curiosity to recycle discarded mail and dyeing it. This led me to explore and experiment through the process of extracting natural dye from leaves, stems, and seeds. I still have much to learn and research on this topic, but I’ve enjoyed the results so far. I’ll continue my learning journey. Yesterday I spent much of my day working on bowl making. I started them many months ago, and they have waited patiently for my return. I managed to finish 2, and prepped four more. These bowls are made from egg carton pulp that is covered with layers of tea bag paper and paint before being decorated. The final coat is a layer of encaustic wax. I have a plan for this one..... but this one will just happen as I go along. I was planning to work on these today, but the day was sunny..... and the…

Sibia Torres Padilla | DIYs on Instagram: "We’re still trying to find more uses to paper clay these days. Yesterday I decided to make a book basket for roses room. I used three paper bags, soaked them overnight and blended them into a pulp. I use the nut milk bag to squeeze out any extra water and the paper pulp. I added one cup of flour, a pinch of salt and half a bottle of school glue. Instead of school glue you can use water to turn your flour into a paste. next, we mixed that up with our hands, and I used a bin as a mold to shape my basket. I let that dry outside for a few hours, and it was ready to decorate I painted it with acrylic paint and added some twine to the handles although I really need to figure out how to fortify the handles a bit more because I don’t know if they wil Paper Clay Projects, Paper Pulp Art, Tiny Doll Clothes, Paper Bag Books, Book Basket, Paper Clay Art, Upcycle Diy, Clay Box, Make A Book

Osa Rosti ART on Instagram: "👋 hello everybody! Here’s a process video of how I make a wall mask in the papier-mache pulp method. This recipe is very simple! I use only paper that has been soaked and pulped and then as a binder/glue I use wall paper paste that is from Methyl cellulose only (so it’s natural) and it has no additives. It’s like a powder and I just sprinkle some on my pulp (sorry no exact recipe here😅) and mix it. You only need very little. Next time I’m gonna make sure to measure it with a spoon so I can let you know more exact. It becomes a bit jelly when in contact with water. At one point I added some water to the pulp to help the pulp to get a more jelly feeling. The key is to mix a lot a lot a lot so it gets smooth. Happy papier-macheing! 🤗 #mixedmediaartist #howtovid How To Paint Paper Mache, Paper Mache Videos, Paper Mache Wall Decor, Smooth Paper Mache, How To Make Paper Mache, Paper Mache Sculpture Diy, Paper Mache Projects Ideas, Papier Mache Diy, Paper Pulp Sculpture
