Large Maple Burl Wood Slab for Fine Woodworking Projects. Highly Figured, Quilted and Birdseye. Approximately 16" x 14" x 5" varies slightly. Pictures do not do this Piece justice. It's absolutely stunning with great natural luster. Burl End Cap harvested locally on our property in the Piedmont region of North Carolina. (Furniture Capital of the world.) Bark intact with some moss growth. Has been hand sanded to a baby smooth feel on face side. Lightly conditioned with Wood Juice Stabilizer. Otherwise completely natural and may contain imperfections. I am happy to apply Klingspor Wood Sealer before shipping if preferred-just message me the request. Has been kept indoors for several months with very little movement but is not dry. Moisture Content is 18-20%. Weighs 8 1/2 Pounds.
