Frans lanting

A personal photographic exploration of the complexity and diversity of life in the tropics by photographer, storyteller, and naturalist Frans Lanting. This unique collection of images was made over a period of 20 years in jungles from the lowlands of the Congo to the cloud forests of the Andes.

In 1990 newly independent Namibia became one of the world’s first nations to write environmental protection into its constitution.
