These are so fun to make 🥰 ➡️ Recipe: Edible Crystals (Kohakuto) Servings— 15-20 crystals - [ ] 1 cup cold water - [ ] 1 tbsp agar agar powder - [ ] 1.5 cups sugar - [ ] Food coloring, gel for candy is preferred - [ ] Fruit extracts (I use Lorann’s) - [ ] Optional: Tart and sour enhancer (it’s a liquid ingredient used to enhance fruit flavors) - [ ] Optional: Edible gold powder 1. In a saucepan, pour in cold water and sprinkle agar agar powder over the top. Let it set for 20 minutes. 2. Turn the stove on to medium heat and simmer water/agar until it starts to bubble.
