Atomic model timeline

This is a timeline of the atomic models' evolution throw the pass of the time. Everything starts since Aristotele's idea about the particle of the atom.

Atoms are the particles present in the matter. Scientists considered that when a matter gets broken continuously, it will end with the smallest particle, which can not be further divisible. This smallest particle of matter is called an atom. Many physicists put forward theories about the structure of atoms and molecules, contributing to the modifications of the Atomic theory. An individual can draw an Atomic Theory timeline diagram to understand the atomic theory modification.

There are five basic atomic models which have contributed the structure of the atom itself. They are: =>John Dalton's atomic model: Dalton´s Billiard Ball (Solid Sphere) Model =>J.J. Thomson's model: Plum Pudding model =>Ernest Rutherford's model: Nuclear model =>Niels Bohr's model: Planetary model =>Erwin Schrödinger's model: Electron Cloud Model/Quantum Model

I don't watch TV any more, however, I do remember watching a marathon of America's Next Top Model sick in bed. I saw the illustration headline and I laughed as it reminded me of the show. I tried looking for the author in order to obtain a cleaner image but I ended up with pages and pages of models; as well as stumbling across a funny picture of Tyra Banks as a Klingon and Worf from Star Trek TNG (see below).

Atoms, the smallest particles of an element that exhibit the properties of that element, consist of negatively charged electrons around a central nucleus composed of more massive positively charged protons and electrically neutral neutrons. Radioactivity is the emission of energetic particles and rays (radiation) by some substances. Three important kinds of radiation are α particles (helium nuclei), β particles (electrons traveling at high speed), and γ rays.
