A detailed study of exclusive and inclusive $(e^{+}e^{-})$ induced processes in the energy range 1.2-3.0 GeV

The authors have studied a total of 26208 events produced in (e/sup + /e/sup -/) reactions in the energy range from 1.2 to 3.0 GeV. All these events had to have at least two charged particles in the final state with an energy cut-off, depending on the nature of the particle: E/sub e/>or=100 MeV; E/sub pi />or=100 MeV; E/sub K/>or=225 MeV. Evidence of the same multiparticle production mechanism in pp collisions as in e$^{+}$e$^{-}$ annihilation

The split-field magnet spectrometer at the CERN intersecting storage rings was used to measure, in p-p collisions at square root s=62 GeV, the inclusive momentum distribution of the charged particles produced in the same hemisphere as the leading proton (x>0.4). A new scaling variable was introduced in order to take into account baryon-number conservation effects in p-p interactions. [...]

Charged-particle multiplicities in pp interactions and comparison with e/sup +/e/sup -/ data

By using three different c.m. energies in pp interactions, square root s=30, 44, 62 GeV, it is shown that the average charged-particle multiplicity (n/sub ch/) scales with square root s once the correct hadronic energy available for multiparticle production, E/sub had/, is used as basic parameter. e/sup +/e/sup -/ annihilation into two hadrons in the energy interval 1400-2400 MeV

The proof is given for the existence of the reaction e/sup +/e/sup -/ to /sup +or-/h/sup -or+/ in the energy range 1400-2400 MeV, and its energy dependence is compared with that of e/sup +/e/sup -/ to e/sup +or-/E/sup -or+/, in the same experimental conditions of observation. The exponent of the s-dependence of the ratio alpha =(e/sup +/e/sup -/ to h/sup +or-/h/sup -or+/)/(e/sup +/e/sup -/ to e/sup +or-/e/sup -or+ /) is measured to be n=2.08+or-0.45, in the s-range (1.96-5.76)GeV/sup 2/, on the basis of 51 e/sup +/e/sup -/ to /sup +or-/h/sup -or+/ events and 8918 e/sup +/e/sup -/ to /sup +or-/e/sup -or+/ events observed. Measurement of anomalous couplings ZZ gamma , Z gamma gamma and ZZZ

The anomalous couplings Z gamma gamma , ZZ gamma and ZZZ have been studied at LEP 2 with the reactions e/sup +/e/sup -/ to qq gamma , e /sup +/e/sup -/ to nu nu gamma and e/sup +/e/sup to / ZZ at square root s from 189 to 202 GeV. Limits are derived on three gauge neutral bosons couplings combining the results of the 3 experiments L3, OPAL and DELPHI..
