ATRAP : on the way to trapped Antihydrogen / Grzonka, D ; Comeau, D ; Gabrielse, G ; Goldenbaum, F ; Hänsch, T W ; Hessels, E A ; Larochelle, P ; Le Sage, D ; Levitt, B ; Oelert, W et al.
The ATRAP experiment at the CERN antiproton decelerator AD aims for a test of the CPT invariance by a high precision comparison of the 1s‐2s transition in the hydrogen and the antihydrogen atom. Antihydrogen production is routinely operated at ATRAP and detailed studies have been performed in order to optimize the production efficiency of useful antihydrogen. [...]

Laser-Controlled Antihydrogen Production by Two-Stage Charge Exchange / Storry, C H ; Guise, N ; Levitt, B ; Le Sage, D ; Speck, A ; Gabrielse, G ; Grzonka, D ; Oelert, W ; Schepers, G ; Sefzick, T et al.
Our ATRAP collaboration has now demonstrated a second technique for antihydrogen (H̄) production. Lasers are used for the first time to control the production of H̄ atoms in our cryogenic apparatus at CERN. [...]

Density and geometry of single component plasmas / ATRAP Collaboration
The density and geometry of p¯ and e+ plasmas in realistic trapping potentials are required to understand and optimize antihydrogen (H¯) formation. An aperture method and a quadrupole oscillation frequency method for characterizing such plasmas are compared for the first time, using electrons in a cylindrical Penning trap. [...]
