The electronics hybrid of the ATLAS-SCT endcap detector modules / Ketterer, C
An electronics hybrid has been developed for the ATLAS silicon microstrip tracker endcaps. The high-density interconnect board carries 12 readout ASICs, as well as ASICs for the optical data transmission. [...]

The silicon strips Inner Tracker (ITk) of the ATLAS Phase-II upgrade detector / Minano, Mercedes (Instituto de Fisica Corpuscular (IFIC), Centro Mixto Universidad de Valencia - CSIC) /ATLAS Collaboration
The inner detector of the present ATLAS detector has been designed and developed to function in the environment of the present Large Hadron Collider (LHC). At the next-generation tracking detector proposed for the High Luminosity LHC (HL-LHC), the so-called ATLAS Phase-II Upgrade, the particle densities and radiation levels will be higher by as much as a factor of ten. Application of Cu-polyimide flex circuit and Al-on-glass pitch adapter for the ATLAS SCT barrel hybrid / Unno, Y ; Hara, K ; Ikegami, Y ; Iwata, Y ; Kohriki, T ; Kondo, T ; Nakano, I ; Ohsugi, T ; Takashima, R ; Tanaka, R et al.
We applied the surface build-up Cu-polyimide flex-circuit technology with laser vias to the ATLAS SCT barrel hybrid to be made in one piece from the connector to the electronics sections including cables. The hybrids, reinforced with carbon-carbon substrates, provide mechanical strength, thermal conductivity, low-radiation length, and stability in application-specific integrated circuit (ASIC) operation. High-pitch metal-on-glass technology for pad pitch adaptation between detectors and readout electronics / Ullán, Miguel ; Lozano, Manuel ; Campabadal, Francesca ; Fleta, Celeste ; Garcia, Carmen ; Gonzalez, Francisco ; Bernabeu, Jose
Modern high-energy physics and astrophysics strip detectors have increased channel density to levels at which their connection with readout electronics has become very complex due to high pad pitch. Also, direct wire bonding is prevented by the fact that typically detector's pad pitch and electronics' pad pitch do not match. [...]

Detector modules for the endcaps of the ATLAS semiconductor tracker / Moorhead, G F
The endcaps of the ATLAS Semiconductor Tracker will be composed of about 2000 detector modules of three different layouts. Up to four single-sided sensors are glued back-to-back with a small stereo angle to form double-sided modules. [...]

Production Performance of the ATLAS Semiconductor Tracker Readout System / Mitsou, Vasiliki A. (Valencia U., IFIC) /ATLAS SCT Collaboration
The ATLAS Semiconductor Tracker (SCT) together with the pixel and the transition radiation detectors will form the tracking system of the ATLAS experiment at LHC. It will consist of 20000 single-sided silicon microstrip sensors assembled back-to-back into modules mounted on four concentric barrels and two end-cap detectors formed by nine disks each. [...]

Beam Test Results for Single- and Double-Sided Silicon Detector Prototypes of the CMS Central Detector / Adriani, O (INFN and University of Catania)
We report the results of two beam tests performed in July and September 1995 at CERN using silicon microstrip detectors of various types: single sided, double sided with small angle stereo strips, double sided with orthogonal strips, double sided with pads. For the read-out electronics use was made of Preshape32, Premux128 and VA1 chips. [...]

Detector modules for the ATLAS SCT endcaps / Feld, L
A discussion about detector modules for the ATLAS silicon microstrip detector system (SCT) endcaps is presented. 1976 double-sided detector modules are needed to equip the endcaps of the silicon microstrip tracker SCT of the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). [...]
