Searches for new particles and new physics : results from e/sup +/e/sup -/ colliders / Igo-Kemenes, P (Physikalisches Inst, Univ Heidelberg, Germany)
Most of the recent results on searches for new particles and new phenomena in e/sup +/e/sup -/ collisions are provided by the LEP experiments, indirect searches are attentive to traces of new physics produced by virtual effects in Standard Model processes. Direct searches are driven by extensions of the Standard Model, of which Supersymmetry is the most prominent today, however, other models are also investigated, and model independent results are also presented. Searches for R-parity violation at LEP / Nicolaidou, R (CEA)
A review of the searches for supersymmetry under the assumption of R- parity violation, in e/sup +/e/sup -/ collisions at LEP is presented. After a brief introduction on the most important aspects of the phenomenology of the R-parity violation, the current status of the different searches of all four collaborations (ALEPH, DELPHI, L3, OPAL) is stated. Search for new particles, including the Higgs bosons, at LEP / Bock, P (Phys Inst, Heidelberg Univ)
With the increase of the centre-of-mass energy of the e/sup +/e/sup - / collider LEP at CERN, the range of sensitivity of searches for new particles is gradually extended towards higher masses and unexplored model parameters. The searches for Higgs particles carried out by the four LEP collaboration, ALEPH, DELPHI, L3 and OPAL, which include the most recent 189 GeV data, are reviewed. [...]

Recent results from LEP / Gurtu, A (Tata Inst of Fundamental Res)
Recent results from the LEP collider at CERN are presented: on the identification of e/sup +/e/sup -/ to W/sup +/W/sup -/ and the determination of the W mass and width and limits on its anomalous couplings; the search for the standard model and non-minimal Higgs; search for SUSY and other new particles. Fits to all electroweak data leading to predictions of the Higgs mass within the standard model are presented. [...]

Searches at LEP2 latest results / Begalli, M (Inst de Fisica)
Searches for the Higgs boson of the Standard Model and supersymmetric models have been performed by the four LEP experiments in the data collected over almost 12 years (August/1989 until November/2000) at centre-of-mass energies varying from 91.2 GeV to 209 GeV. An excess of candidates for the process e/sup +/e/sup -/ to Z* to Z/sup 0/H/sup 0/ was found for Higgs masses near 114 GeV. [...]

Search for scalar partners of fermions by the OPAL collaboration at LEP / Trigger, I (CERN) /OPAL Collaboration
Searches for scalar partners of fermions, predicted by supersymmetric theories, are performed using a data sample of about 520 pb/sup -1/ taken at center-of-mass energies in the range 183-209 GeV. As excess of candidates is found, cross-section limits are calculated. [...]

Radiative corrections to pair production of charged Higgs bosons in $e^{+}e^{-}$ collisions / Guasch, J (Karlsruhe U., TTP) ; Hollik, Wolfgang F L ; Kraft, A
Charged Higgs particles are a common feature of many extensions of the Standard Model. While its existence with masses up to the TeV scale can be probed at the Tevatron Run II and LHC hadron colliders, a precise determination of its properties would have to wait for a high energy e/sup +/e/sup -/ linear collider. Minimal supersymmetric standard model Higgs bosons in the intense- coupling regime / Boos, E ; Djouadi, A ; Mühlleitner, M M ; Vologdin, A N
We perform a comprehensive study of the Higgs sector of the minimal supersymmetric extension of the standard model in the case where all Higgs bosons are rather light, with masses of O(100 GeV), and couple maximally to electroweak gauge bosons and strongly to standard third generation fermions, i.e. for large values of the ratio of the vacuum expectation values of the two Higgs doublet fields, tan beta .
