Correlations and fluctuations in Pb+Pb collisions / NA49 Collaboration
Results on two-particle correlations, deuteron production, event anisotropy and event-by-event fluctuations of <p/sub T/> and K/ pi were obtained by the NA49 experiment in Pb+Pb collisions at 158 A.GeV beam energy. The interpretation of the measurements is discussed in light of the search for deconfinement. [...]

Hadron production in nuclear collisions from the NA49 experiment at 158 GeV/c.A / NA49 Collaboration
With its large acceptance and particle identification coverage the NA49 experiment can study hadron production in a wide range of high energy reactions. Originally aimed at examining central Pb+Pb collisions for signatures of quark-gluon plasma formation, the scope of the experiment has been enhanced with the systematic study of impact parameter and projectile size dependence, as well as the inclusion of the more elementary p+p and p+A interactions. The NA49 large acceptance hadron detector / NA49 Collaboration
The NA49 detector is a wide acceptance spectrometer for the study of hadron production in p+p, p+A, and A+A collisions at the CERN SPS. The main components are 4 large volume TPCs for tracking and particle identification via $dE/dx$. [...]

Deuteron production in central Pb+Pb collisions at 158A GeV / NA49 Collaboration
Experimental results on deuteron emission from central Pb+Pb collisions (E/sub beam/=158A GeV, fixed target), obtained by NA49 at the CERN SPS accelerator, are presented. The transverse mass m/sub t/ distribution was measured near mid-rapidity (2.0<y<2.5) in the range of 0<m/sub t/-m/sub 0/<0.9 GeV/c/sup 2/ (0<p/sub t/<2.0 GeV/c) for the 4% most central collisions. Production of $\phi$ -mesons in p+p, p+Pb and central Pb+Pb collisions at $E_{beam}$=158 A GeV / NA49 Collaboration
Yields and phase space distributions of $\phi-$ mesons emitted from $p$+$p$ (minimum bias trigger), $p$+Pb (at various centralities) and central Pb +Pb collisions are reported (E/sub beam/=158 A GeV). The decay $\phi$ to K/sup +/K/sup -/ was used for identification. [...]
