The $^{7}$Be($\boldsymbol{n,p}$)$^{7}$Li reaction and the Cosmological Lithium Problem: measurement of the cross section in a wide energy range at n_TOF (CERN) / n_TOF Collaboration
We report on the measurement of the $^{7}$Be($n, p$)$^{7}$Li cross section from thermal to approximately 325 keV neutron energy, performed in the high-flux experimental area (EAR2) of the n\_TOF facility at CERN. This reaction plays a key role in the lithium yield of the Big Bang Nucleosynthesis (BBN) for standard cosmology. [...]

Measurement of $^{73}$Ge($n,γ$) cross sections and implications for stellar nucleosynthesis / n_TOF Collaboration
$^{73}$Ge($n,γ$) cross sections were measured at the neutron time-of-flight facility n_TOF at CERN up to neutron energies of 300 keV, providing for the first time experimental data above 8 keV. Results indicate that the stellar cross section at kT = 30 keV is 1.5 to 1.7 times higher than most theoretical predictions. [...]

Neutron spectroscopy of $^{26}$Mg states: constraining the stellar neutron source $^{22}$Ne($\alpha, n$)$^{25}$Mg / Massimi, C. (INFN, Bologna ; Bologna U.) ; Altstadt, S. (Frankfurt U.) ; Andrzejewski, J. (Lodz U.) ; Audouin, L. (Orsay, IPN) ; Barbagallo, M. (INFN, Bari) ; Bécares, V. (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Bečvář, F. (Charles U.) ; Belloni, F. (IRFU, Saclay) ; Berthoumieux, E. (IRFU, Saclay) ; Billowes, J. (Manchester U.) et al. /n_TOF
This work reports on accurate, high-resolution measurements of the $^{25}$Mg($n, \gamma$)$^{26}$Mg and $^{25}$Mg($n, tot$) cross sections in the neutron energy range from thermal to about 300 keV, leading to a significantly improved $^{25}$Mg($n, \gamma$)$^{26}$Mg parametrization. The relevant resonances for $n+^{25}$Mg were characterized from a combined R-matrix analysis of the experimental data. [...]

New insights on fission of $^{235}$U induced by high energy neutrons / n_TOF Collaboration
The $^{235}$U(n,f) reaction cross section was measured relative to neutron-proton elastic scattering for the first time in the energy region from 10 MeV to 440 MeV at the CERN n_TOF facility, extending the upper limit of the only previous measurement in the literature by more than 200 MeV. [...]

Challenging neutron-capture cross-section measurements of small cross sections and samples with a very limited number of atoms require high-flux time-of-flight facilities. In turn, such facilities need innovative detection setups that are fast, have low sensitivity to neutrons, can quickly recover from the so-called $\gamma$-flash, and offer the highest possible detection sensitivity. A Segmented Total Energy Detector (sTED) optimized for $(n,\gamma)$ cross-section measurements at n_TOF EAR2 / n_TOF Collaboration
The neutron time-of-flight facility n_TOF at CERN is a spallation source dedicated to measurements of neutron-induced reaction cross-sections of interest in nuclear technologies, astrophysics, and other applications. Since 2014, Experimental ARea 2 (EAR2) is operational and delivers a neutron fluence of $4\times 10^7$ neutrons per nominal proton pulse, which is 50 times higher than the one of Experimental ARea 1 (EAR1) of $8\times10^5$ neutrons per pulse. Measurement of the $^{154}$Gd(n,$\gamma$) cross section and its astrophysical implications / n_TOF Collaboration
The neutron capture cross section of $^{154}$Gd was measured from 1 eV to 300 keV in the experimental area located 185 m from the CERN n\_TOF neutron spallation source, using a metallic sample of gadolinium, enriched to 67$\%$ in $^{154}$Gd. The capture measurement, performed with four C$_{6}$D$_{6}$ scintillation detectors, has been complemented by a transmission measurement performed at the GELINA time-of-flight facility (JRC-Geel), thus minimising the uncertainty related to sample composition. Measurement of the $^{14}$N(n,p)$^{14}$C cross section at the CERN n_TOF facility from sub-thermal energy to 800 keV / n_TOF Collaboration
Background: The $^{14}$N(n,p)$^{14}$C reaction is of interest in neutron capture therapy, where nitrogen-related dose is the main component due to low-energy neutrons, and in astrophysics, where 14N acts as a neutron poison in the s-process. Several discrepancies remain between the existing data obtained in partial energy ranges: thermal energy, keV region and resonance region. [...]

Advances and new ideas for neutron-capture astrophysics experiments at CERN n_TOF / n_TOF Collaboration
This article presents a few selected developments and future ideas related to the measurement of $(n,\gamma)$ data of astrophysical interest at CERN n_TOF. The MC-aided analysis methodology for the use of low-efficiency radiation detectors in time-of-flight neutron-capture measurements is discussed, with particular emphasis on the systematic accuracy.
