Several Topics on Beam Dynamics in FCC-ee / Oide, Katsunobu (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Aumon, Sandra (CERN) ; Charles, Tessa (CERN) ; El Khechen, Dima (CERN) ; Shatilov, Dmitry (Novosibirsk, IYF) ; Tydecks, Tobias (CERN)
The FCC-ee is a double-ring $e^+e^-$ collider to be installed in a common tunnel of∼ 100km circumference, as a po- tential first step before the FCC-hh hadron collider. Several studies on the beam dynamics at FCC-ee: low emittance tuning, dynamic aperture, beam blowup with/without beam beam, are introduced in the paper..

Local chromatic correction scheme and crab-waist collisions for an ultra-low beta* at the LHC / Abelleira, Jose Luis (Ecole Polytechnique, Lausanne ; CERN) ; Russenschuck, Stephan (CERN) ; Tomas, Rogelio (CERN) ; Zimmermann, Frank (CERN) ; Ohmi, Kazuhito (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Milardi, Catia (Frascati) ; Zobov, Mikhail (Frascati) ; Shatilov, Dmitry (Novosibirsk, IYF)
We discuss potential merits and the parameter range of interest for a possible crab-waist collision scheme at the LHC, and report preliminary optics studies of a local chromatic correction scheme with flat beams (β*x ≫ β*y ), which could boost the LHC luminosity by about an order of magnitude and would also allow for crab-waist collisions..

Beam Dynamics Challenges for FCC-ee / Zimmermann, Frank (CERN) ; Benedikt, Michael (CERN) ; Oide, Katsunobu (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Bogomyagkov, Anton (Novosibirsk, IYF) ; Levichev, Evgeny (Novosibirsk, IYF) ; Migliorati, Mauro (INFN, Rome ; Roma U.) ; Wienands, Uli (CERN)
The goals of FCC-ee include reaching luminosities of up to a few 1036 cm-2s-1 per interaction point at the Z pole or some 1034 cm-2s-1 at the ZH production peak, and pushing the beam energy up to ≥175 GeV, in a ring of 100 km circumference, with a total synchrotron-radiation power not exceeding 100 MW. A parameter baseline as well as high-luminosity crab-waist options were described in [1] and [2], respectively. [...]

Interaction region for crab waist scheme of the Future Electron-Positron Collider (CERN) / Bogomyagkov, A (Novosibirsk, IYF) ; Levichev, E (Novosibirsk, IYF)
Design study in CERN of the accelerator that would fit 80-100 km tunnel called Future Circular Colliders (FCC) includes high-luminosity $e^+ e^−$ collider (FCC-ee) with center-of-mass energy from 90 to 350 GeV to study Higgs boson properties and perform precise measurements at the electroweak scale [1–3]. Crab waist interaction region provides collisions with luminosity higher than 2 × 10$^{36}$ cm$^{−2}$ sec$^{−1}$ at beam energy of 45 GeV. [...]

Momentum acceptance optimization in FCC-ee lattice (CERN) / Bogomyagkov, Anton (Novosibirsk, IYF) ; Levichev, Evgeny (Novosibirsk, IYF)
The part of the ongoing study of the future circular collider (FCC) is an electron positron machine with center of mass energy from 90 to 350 GeV. Crab waist collision scheme and small (1 mm) vertical beta function at the interaction point (IP) provide superior luminosity. [...]

Progress in the Design of Beam Optics for FCC-ee Collider Ring* / Oide, Katsunobu (KEK, Tsukuba) ; Benedikt, Michael (CERN) ; Blondel, Alain (Geneva U.) ; Bogomyagkov, Anton (Novosibirsk, IYF) ; Boscolo, Manuela (Frascati) ; Burkhardt, Helmut (CERN) ; Holzer, Bernhard (CERN) ; Koratzinos, Michael (Geneva U.) ; Levichev, Evgeny (Novosibirsk, IYF) ; Milanese, Attilio (CERN) et al.
The beam optics for the FCC-ee collider has been updated: (a) the layout is adjusted to a new footprint of FCC-hh, (b) the design around the interaction point is refined considering a number of machine-detecor interface issues, (c) the arc lattice is refined taking realistic magnet designs into account, (d) the β^{*} and betatron tunes are re-optimized according to recent results of the beam-beam simulations, and more. These changes make the collider design more realistic without performance degradation..
