A study of pi /sup -/ pi /sup -/ scattering from pi /sup -/p interactions at 393 GeV/c / Losty, Michael J ; Alitti, J ; Chaloupka, V ; Ferrando, A ; Gandois, B ; Louie, J ; Montanet, Lucien ; Paul, E ; Yaffe, D ; Zieminski, A
A modified Chew-Low extrapolation procedure is applied to the reaction pi /sup -/p to Delta /sup ++/ pi /sup -/ pi /sup -/ to extract the I=2 pi pi elastic cross sections from threshold to 1260 MeV. The predictions of the one-pion-exchange model are used to estimate the contributions from background processes of the type pi /sup -/p to Delta /sup 0/ rho /sup 0/. [...]

Analysis of $\pi^{0} \pi^{0}$ scattering amplitude in $\pi^{-p}$ charge exchange reaction and I=0 S-wave phase shifts / Ma, A M ; Takamatsu, K
We performed an analysis of pi pi scattering amplitudes of the pi /sup 0/ pi /sup 0/ system produced in the pi /sup -/p charge exchange reaction, pi /sup -/p to pi /sup 0/ pi /sup 0/n at 8.95 GeV of incident pi /sup -/ beam. The data were obtained by the experiment, E135 at the 12 GeV proton synchrotron at KEK. [...]

$\pi \pi$ phase-shift analysis from an experiment $\pi^{-}p \rightarrow \pi^{-} \pi^{+} n$ at 17.2 GeV/c / Grayer, G ; Blum, W ; Dietl, H ; Hyams, Bernard David ; Jones, C ; Koch, W ; Lorenz, E ; Lütjens, G ; Männer, W ; Meissburger, J et al.
The pi pi phase-shifts have been determined by a Chew-Low extrapolation in the pi pi mass region from 500 to 1500 MeV using data of a spark chamber experiment on pi /sup -/p to pi /sup -/ pi /sup +/n at 17.2 GeV/c, which yielded 318000 events. The authors find an I=0 s- wave phase shift which increases slowly, passing through 90 degrees near 900 MeV, and then rises very rapidly. [...]

A new analysis of K pi scattering as observed in K/sup +/p to K/sup 0/ pi Delta /sup ++/ from 3 to 13 GeV/c / Bingham, H H ; Colton, E ; Drijard, Daniel ; Dunwoodie, W M ; Goldschmidt-Clermont, Yves ; Grard, F ; Herquet, P ; Linglin, D ; Müller, F ; Naisse, J et al.
K pi scattering is studied in 77300 bubble chamber events of K/sup +/p to K/sup +/ pi /sup -/ pi /sup +/p and 18800 events of K/sup +/p to K /sup 0/ pi /sup 0/ pi /sup +/p for beam momenta between 2.5 and 12.7 GeV/c. The onshell moments of the angular distribution and the cross sections for K/sup +/ pi /sup -/ to K/sup +/ pi /sup -/, K/sup +/ pi /sup -/ to K/sup 0/ pi /sup 0/ and K/sup 0/ pi /sup +/ to K/sup 0/ pi /sup +/ are obtained by extrapolation to the pion pole. New data on the reaction K/sup -/n to ( Sigma pi )/sup -/ and a partial wave analysis of KN to Sigma pi in the energy range 1520-1745 MeV / Hepp, V ; Braun, O ; Gandini, F ; Grimm, H J ; Kiesling, C ; Plane, D E ; Ströbele, H ; Thol, C ; Thouw, T J ; Wittek, W
Differential cross sections for K/sup -/n to ( Sigma pi )/sup -/ have been measured at K/sup -/ momenta between 680 and 840 MeV/c in a bubble chamber experiment. For K/sup -/n to sigma /sup 0/ pi /sup -/ the Sigma /sup 0/ polarization was also determined. [...]

$\pi\pi$ scattering S wave from the data on the reaction $\pi^{-}p \to \pi^{0}\pi^{0}/n$ / Achasov, N N ; Shestakov, G N
The results of the recent unpolarized target experiments on the reaction pi /sup -/p to pi /sup 0/ pi /sup 0/n performed at KEK, BNL, IHEP, and CERN are analyzed in detail. In practice, the unpolarized data allow information on pi pi scattering to be obtained under the assumption of the dominance of the one-pion exchange mechanism. [...]

epsilon -meson coupling constants and scale invariance breaking / Petersen, J L ; Pisút, J
A general method for obtaining ratios of coupling constants (defined by pole residues) in a way which is completely free of resonance /background separation troubles is devised and applied to the epsilon -meson. Huge discrepancies between previous determinations are shown to arise (i) from inherent ambiguities in the methods used, (ii) from lack of knowledge about the epsilon -pole position and (iii) from the well-known up-down ambiguity in the isospin-0 s-wave pi pi phase shift delta /sub 0//sup o/. Coupled channel analysis in the K$\overline{K}$ threshold region / Grayer, G ; Blum, W ; Dietl, H ; Hyams, Bernard David ; Jones, C ; Koch, W ; Lorenz, E ; Lütjens, G ; Männer, W ; Meissburger, J et al.
Results of an energy-dependent phase-shift analysis for pi pi scattering between 900 and 1120 MeV mass are presented using data of the reactions pi /sup +or-/p to pi /sup +or-/ pi /sup +/n and pi /sup -/p to K/sup +/K/sup -/n. The I=0 S-wave becomes highly inelastic at KK threshold and accounts for the structure in the pi pi system. [...]
