A phenomenological whole-region formula for inclusive p/sub perpendicular to / distribution at 90 degrees , based on the concept of varying temperature in a pre-equilibrium state, is set up and its predictions are compared with the data on pi /sup 0/, pi /sup -/, and K/sup +/ inclusive distributions at CERN ISR energies. Comment on the CERN ISR pi /sup 0/- pi /sup 0/ azimuthal correlation data / Gunion, J F ; Kunszt, Zoltán ; Pietarinen, E
The pi /sup 0/- pi /sup 0/ azimuthal-angle distributions measured at CERN ISR are described in terms of standard large-p/sub perpendicular to / two-jet and three-jet contributions in combination with a background obtained by superimposing two uncorrelated pi /sup 0/ spectra (one at high p/sub perpendicular to /, the other at low p/sub perpendicular to /). The main characteristics of the data can be fitted surprisingly well by a simple analytic expression. [...]

Studies of jet fragmentation in large p/sub T/ events at the ISR / Kluge, E E (Inst fur Hochenergiephys, Univ Heidelberg, Heidelberg, Switzerland)
In an experiment done with the SFM-facility at the CERN-ISR, the authors studied events with a high p/sub T/ particle ( pi /sup +/, pi /sup -/, K/sup -/, p) produced at theta =20 degrees and theta =45 degrees .
