Measurement of the prompt fission $\gamma $-rays from slow neutron-induced fission of $^{235}$U with STEFF / n_TOF Collaboration
The average energy and multiplicity of prompt $\gamma $-rays from slow neutron-induced fission of $^{235}$U have been measured using the STEFF spectrometer at the neutron time-of-flight facility n_TOF. The individual responses from 11 NaI scintillators were corrected for multiple $\gamma $-ray interactions, prompt fission neutrons and background counts before being deconvolved to estimate the emitted spectrum of prompt fission $\gamma $-rays. $^{74}$Ge($n,\gamma $) cross section below 70 keV measured at n_TOF CERN / n_TOF Collaboration
Neutron capture reaction cross sections on $^{74}$Ge are of importance to determine $^{74}$Ge production during the astrophysical slow neutron capture process. We present new resonance data on $^{74}$Ge($n,\gamma $) reactions below 70 keV neutron energy. [...]

Measurement of the $^{238}\mathrm{U}(n,\gamma)$ cross section up to 80 keV with the Total Absorption Calorimeter at the CERN n_TOF facility / Wright, T (Manchester U.) ; Guerrero, C (CERN ; Seville U.) ; Billowes, J (Manchester U.) ; Cano-Ott, D (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Mendoza, E (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Altstadt, S (Goethe U., Frankfurt (main)) ; Andrzejewski, J (Lodz U.) ; Audouin, L (Orsay, IPN) ; Bécares, V (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Barbagallo, M (INFN, Bari) et al. /n_TOF
The radiative capture cross section of a highly pure (99.999%), 6.125(2) grams and $9.56(5) \times 10^{−4}$ atoms/barn areal density $^{238}$U sample has been measured with the Total Absorption Calorimeter (TAC) in the 185 m flight path at the CERN neutron time-of-flight facility n_TOF. This measurement is in response to the NEA High Priority Request list, which demands an accuracy in this cross section of less than 3% below 25 keV. [...]

Status report of the n_TOF facility after the 2nd CERN long shutdown period / Patronis, N (Ioannina U. ; CERN) ; Mengoni, A (ENEA, Bologna ; INFN, Bologna) ; Goula, S (Ioannina U.) ; Aberle, O (CERN) ; Alcayne, V (Madrid, CIEMAT) ; Altieri, S (INFN, Pavia ; Brescia U. ; Pavia U.) ; Amaducci, S (INFN, Catania) ; Andrzejewski, J (Lodz U.) ; Babiano-Suarez, V (Valencia U., IFIC) ; Bacak, M (CERN) et al.
During the second long shutdown period of the CERN accelerator complex (LS2, 2019-2021), several upgrade activities took place at the n_TOF facility. The most important have been the replacement of the spallation target with a next generation nitrogen-cooled lead target. [...]

A segmented total energy detector (sTED) for (n, γ) cross section measurements at n_TOF EAR2 / n_TOF Collaboration
The neutron time-of-flight facility n_TOF is characterised by its high instantaneous neutron intensity, high-resolution and broad neutron energy spectra, specially conceived for neutron-induced reaction cross section measurements. Two Time-Of-Flight (TOF) experimental areas are available at the facility: experimental area 1 (EAR1), located at the end of the 185 m horizontal flight path from the spallation target, and experimental area 2 (EAR2), placed at 20 m from the target in the vertical direction. Measurement of the Ce140(n,γ) Cross Section at n_TOF and Its Astrophysical Implications for the Chemical Evolution of the Universe / n_TOF Collaboration
Ce140(n,γ) is a key reaction for slow neutron-capture (s-process) nucleosynthesis due to being a bottleneck in the reaction flow. For this reason, it was measured with high accuracy (uncertainty ≈5%) at the n_TOF facility, with an unprecedented combination of a high purity sample and low neutron-sensitivity detectors. [...]

High-resolution cross section measurements for neutron interactions on $^{89}$Y with incident neutron energies up to 95 keV / Tagliente, G (INFN, Bari) ; Milazzo, P M (INFN, Trieste) ; Paradela, C (Geel, JRC) ; Kopecky, S (Geel, JRC) ; Vescovi, D (INFN, Perugia ; Cagliari Observ.) ; Alaerts, G (Geel, JRC) ; Damone, L A (INFN, Bari ; CERN) ; Heyse, J (Geel, JRC) ; Krtička, M (Charles U.) ; Schillebeeckx, P (Geel, JRC) et al.
The cross section of the $^{89}$Y(n, $\gamma $) reaction has important implications in nuclear astrophysics and for advanced nuclear technology. Given its neutron magic number N = 50 and a consequent small neutron capture cross section, $^{89}$Y represents one of the key nuclides for the stellar s-process. [...]

Shedding Light on the Origin of Pb204, the Heaviest s-Process–Only Isotope in the Solar System / n_TOF Collaboration

A fission reaction chamber based on Parallel Plate Avalanche Counters (PPACs) was built for measuring angular distributions of fragments emitted in neutron-induced fission of actinides at the neutron beam available at the Neutron Time-Of-Flight (n_TOF) facility at CERN. The detectors and the samples were tilted 45 1 with respect to the neutron beam direction to cover all the possible values of the emission angle of the fission fragments [...]
