Sp($2N$) gauge theories with fermonic matter provide an ideal laboratory to build extensions of the standard model based on novel composite dynamics. Examples include composite Higgs along with top partial compositeness and composite dark matter. [...]

Lattice study for conformal windows of SU(2) and SU(3) gauge theories with fundamental fermions
/ Huang, Cynthia Y.-H. (Taiwan, Natl. Chiao Tung U.) ; Kanamori, Issaku (Taiwan, Natl. Chiao Tung U. ; Hiroshima U.) ; Lin, C.-J. David (Taiwan, Natl. Chiao Tung U.) ; Ogawa, Kenji (Taiwan, Natl. Chiao Tung U.) ; Ohki, Hiroshi (RIKEN BNL) ; Ramos, Alberto (CERN) ; Rinaldi, Enrico (LLNL, Livermore)
We present our investigation of SU(2) gauge theory with 8 flavours, and SU(3) gauge theory with 12 flavours. For the SU(2) case, at strong bare coupling, $\beta \lesssim 1.45$, the distribution of the lowest eigenvalue of the Dirac operator can be described by chiral random matrix theory for the Gaussian symplectic ensemble. We present new data on our ongoing project on the investigation of the phase structure of the Higgs-Yukawa model at large bare Yukawa couplings. The data presented last year are extended in terms of statistics, the number of bare Yukawa couplings at existing, and new larger volumes. [...]

Non-perturbative numerical lattice studies of the Higgs-Yukawa sector of the standard model with exact chiral symmetry are reviewed. In particular, we discuss bounds on the Higgs boson mass at the standard model top quark mass, and in the presence of heavy fermions. [...]

In this article, we present an ongoing lattice study of the Higgs-Yukawa model, in the regime of strong-Yukawa coupling, using overlap fermions. We investigated the phase structure in this regime by computing the Higgs vacuum expectation value, and by exploring the finite-size scaling behaviour of the susceptibility corresponding to the magnetisation. Effects of Quenching in $\Delta$I=1/2 Kaon Decays
/ Lin, C J D ; Martinelli, G ; Pallante, E ; Sachrajda, Christopher T C ; Villadoro, Giovanni
We present the inconsistencies which arise in quenched QCD in $\Delta I=1/2$ non-leptonic kaon decays using chiral perturbation theory (ChPT) to one loop. In particular we discuss how the lack of unitarity of the quenched theory invalidates the usual methods for the extraction of matrix elements from correlation functions..
