A high-precision measurement of the $^{131}$Cs$ \rightarrow ^{131}$Xe ground-to-ground-state electron-capture $Q_{\textrm{EC}}$-value was performed using the ISOLTRAP mass spectrometer at ISOLDE/CERN.
