Deformation versus Sphericity in the Ground States of the Lightest Gold Isotopes / Cubiss, J G (York U., England) ; Andreyev, A N (York U., England ; JAEA, Ibaraki) ; Barzakh, A E (Unlisted) ; Van Duppen, P (KU Leuven, Dept. Phys. Astron.) ; Hilaire, S (CEA DAM) ; Péru, S (CEA DAM) ; Goriely, S (Brussels U., IAA) ; Al Monthery, M (York U., England) ; Althubiti, N A (Manchester U. ; Al Jouf U. ; Ain Shames U.) ; Andel, B (Comenius U.) et al.
The changes in mean-squared charge radii of neutron-deficient gold nuclei have been determined using the in-source, resonance-ionization laser spectroscopy technique, at the ISOLDE facility (CERN). From these new data, nuclear deformations are inferred, revealing a competition between deformed and spherical configurations. [...]

Isomeric excitation energy for $^{99}$In$^{m}$ from mass spectrometry reveals constant trend next to doubly magic $^{100}$Sn / Nies, L. (CERN ; Greifswald U.) ; Atanasov, D. (CERN) ; Athanasakis-Kaklamanakis, M. (CERN ; Leuven U.) ; Au, M. (CERN ; Mainz U.) ; Blaum, K. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Dobaczewski, J. (Warsaw U.) ; Hu, B.S. (TRIUMF) ; Holt, J.D. (TRIUMF ; McGill U.) ; Karthein, J. (MIT) ; Kulikov, I. (Darmstadt, GSI) et al.
The excitation energy of the 1/2$^-$ isomer in $^{99}$In at ${N=50}$ is measured to be 671(37) keV and the mass uncertainty of the 9/2$^+$ ground state is significantly reduced using the ISOLTRAP mass spectrometer at ISOLDE/CERN. The measurements exploit a major improvement in the resolution of the multi-reflection time-of-flight mass spectrometer. [...]

The CERN-ISOLDE fast tape station / Stegemann, S (CERN) ; Atanasov, D (CERN) ; Au, M (CERN ; Mainz U., Inst. Kernphys. ; U. The employment of a suitable radioactive decay spectroscopy setup is essential for the operation of radioactive ion beam (RIB) facilities. CERN-ISOLDE recently developed a new fast tape station (FTS) setup to replace its more than 40 years old predecessor. [...]

Experimental setup for Weak Interaction Studies with Radioactive ion-beams WISArD / Atanasov, D (CERN) ; Cresto, F (LPC, Caen) ; Nies, L (CERN) ; Pomorski, M (LP2I, Bordeaux) ; Versteegen, M (LP2I, Bordeaux) ; Alfaurt, P (LP2I, Bordeaux) ; Araujo-Escalona, V (Leuven U.) ; Ascher, P (LP2I, Bordeaux) ; Blank, B (LP2I, Bordeaux) ; Daudin, L (LP2I, Bordeaux) et al.
The article describes the commissioning and technical development of the Weak Interaction Studies with 32Ar Decay (WISArD) experiment, installed at the radioactive ion-beam facility ISOLDE/CERN. The experiment aims to extend the present limits on scalar and tensor currents in the weak interaction and hence search for physics beyond the Standard Model. [...]

Producing gold at ISOLDE-CERN / Barzakh, A E (St. Petersburg, INP) ; Andreyev, A N (York U., England ; JAERI, Tokai) ; Atanasov, D (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Cubiss, J G (York U., England) ; Harding, R D (York U., England ; CERN) ; Al Monthery, M (York U., England) ; Althubiti, N A (Manchester U. ; Al Jouf U.) ; Andel, B (Comenius U. ; Leuven U.) ; Antalic, S (Comenius U.) ; Ballof, J (CERN ; Mainz U., Inst. Kernchem.) et al.
The yield of 18 ion beams of radioactive gold nuclei produced in the thick uranium target at ISOLDE (CERN) by 1.4-GeV protons was measured. The production-efficiency dependence on the half-life (efficiency curve) was derived using the in-target production calculations by the FLUKA-CERN code. [...]

Charge radii, moments, and masses of mercury isotopes across the $N=126$ shell closure / Goodacre, T. Day (Manchester U. ; TRIUMF ; CERN) ; Afanasjev, A.V. (Mississippi State U.) ; Barzakh, A.E. (CERN ; Greifswald U.) ; Andreyev, A.N. (York U., England ; JAERI, Tokai) et al.
Combining laser spectroscopy in a Versatile Arc Discharge and Laser Ion Source, with Penning-trap mass spectrometry at the CERN-ISOLDE facility, this work reports on mean-square charge radii of neutron-rich mercury isotopes across the $N = 126$ shell closure, the electromagnetic moments of $^{207}$Hg and more precise mass values of $^{206-208}$Hg. The odd-even staggering (OES) of the mean square charge radii and the kink at $N = 126$ are analyzed within the framework of covariant density functional theory (CDFT), with comparisons between different functionals to investigate the dependence of the results on the underlying single-particle structure.
