Feasibility of crystal-assisted collimation in the CERN accelerator complex / UA9 Collaboration
Bent silicon crystals mounted on high-accuracy angular actuators were installed in the CERN Super Proton Synchrotron (SPS) and extensively tested to assess the feasibility of crystal-assisted collimation in circular hadron colliders. The adopted layout was exploited and regularly upgraded for about a decade by the UA9 Collaboration. [...]

Channeling and Radiation Experiments at SLAC / SLAC T513-E212-T523 Collaboration
Since 2014, a SLAC-Aarhus-Ferrara-CalPoly collaboration augmented by members of ANL and MIT has performed electron and positron channeling experiments using bent silicon crystals at the SLAC End Station A Test Beam as well as the FACET accelerator test facility. These experiments have revealed a remarkable channeling efficiency of about 24% under our conditions. [...]

Following the recommendations of the European Strategy Group for High Energy Physics, CERN started the Future Circular Collider Study (FCC), a design study for possible future circular collider projects to investigate their feasibility for high energy physics research. The FCC Study covers three different machines with a circumference of 100 km: an electron positron collider with collision energy in the range of 91 GeV to 350 GeV (FCC-ee), a proton proton collider with a maximum energy of 100 TeV (FCC-hh) and an electron proton option (FCC-he).
