Further evidence for shape coexistence in $^{79}$Zn$^{m}$ near doubly-magic $^{78}$Ni / Nies, L. (CERN ; Greifswald U.) ; Canete, L. (Jyvaskyla U. ; Surrey U.) ; Dao, D.D. Isomers close to doubly-magic $^{78}_{28}$Ni$_{50}$ provide essential information on the shell evolution and shape coexistence near the ${Z=28}$ and ${N=50}$ double shell closure. We report the excitation energy measurement of the $1/2^{+}$ isomer in $^{79}_{30}$Zn$_{49}$ through independent high-precision mass measurements with the JYFLTRAP double Penning trap and with the ISOLTRAP Multi-Reflection Time-of-Flight Mass Spectrometer. We report the first high-precision mass measurements of the neutron-rich nuclei $^{74,75}$Ni and the clearly identified ground state of $^{76}$Cu, along with a more precise mass-excess value of $^{78}$Cu, performed with the double Penning trap JYFLTRAP at the Ion Guide Isotope Separator On-Line (IGISOL) facility. These new results lead to a quantitative estimation of the quenching for the $N=50$ neutron shell gap. [...]
