Refining the nuclear mass surface with the mass of $^{103}$Sn
/ Nies, L. (CERN ; Greifswald U.) ; Atanasov, D. (LP2I, Bordeaux) ; Athanasakis-Kaklamanakis, M. (CERN ; Leuven U.) ; Au, M. (CERN ; Mainz U.) ; Bernerd, C. (CERN) ; Blaum, K. (Heidelberg, Max Planck Inst.) ; Chrysalidis, K. (CERN) ; Fischer, P. (Greifswald U.) ; Heinke, R. (CERN) ; Klink, C. (CERN ; Darmstadt, Tech. U.) et al.
Mass measurements with the ISOLTRAP mass spectrometer at CERN-ISOLDE improve mass uncertainties of neutron-deficient tin isotopes towards doubly-magic $^{100}$Sn. The mass uncertainty of $^{103}$Sn was reduced by a factor of 4, and the new value for the mass excess of -67104(18) keV is compared with nuclear \textit{ab initio} and density functional theory calculations. Charge radii of thallium isotopes near the N=126 shell closure
/ IDS Collaboration
The changes in the mean-squared charge radius of Tlg209 (N=128) and Tlm207 (N=126) relative to Tl205 have been measured for the first time using the in-source laser resonance-ionization spectroscopy technique with the Laser Ion Source and Trap (LIST) at ISOLDE (CERN). The application of the LIST suppresses the dominant background from isobaric francium isotopes and allows access to thallium nuclides with A⩾207. [...]

Radiative Decay of the $^{229m}$Th Nuclear Clock Isomer in Different Host Materials
/ Pineda, S.V. (Leuven U.) ; Chhetri, P. (Leuven U. ; Mainz U.) ; Bara, S. (Leuven U.) ; Elskens, Y. (Leuven U.) ; Casci, S. (Leuven U.) ; Alexandrova, A.N. (UCLA, Los Angeles (main)) ; Au, M. A comparative vacuum ultraviolet spectroscopy study conducted at ISOLDE-CERN of the radiative decay of the $^{229m}$Th nuclear clock isomer embedded in different host materials is reported. The ratio of the number of radiative decay photons and the number of $^{229m}$Th embedded are determined for single crystalline CaF$_2$, MgF$_2$, LiSrAlF$_6$, AlN, and amorphous SiO$_2$. [...]

ISOL@MYRRHA will be a new Radioactive Ion Beam (RIB) facility in Belgium based on the Isotope Separation On-Line (ISOL) technique, and established within the framework of MYRRHA, the world’s first large-scale accelerator driven system project at power levels scalable to industrial systems. The surface ion source, or hot cavity, is chosen as initial source for its reliability and simple design. [...]

Benchmark evaluation of a single frequency continuous wave OPO seeded pulsed dye amplifier for high-resolution laser spectroscopy
/ Urquiza-González, M (Unlisted, DE) ; Au, M (CERN ; Mainz U.) ; Bernerd, C (Leuven U.) ; Bissell, M (Manchester U.) ; van den Borne, B (Leuven U.) ; Chrysalidis, K (CERN) ; Cocolios, T E (Leuven U.) ; Fedosseev, V N (CERN) ; Flanagan, K T (Manchester U.) ; Garcia Ruiz, R G (MIT) et al.
The study of the atomic spectrum via resonant laser excitation provides access to underlying effects caused by the nuclear structure, which is of special interest in short-lived radioisotopes produced at Isotope Separator On-Line (ISOL) facilities. Current implementations of resonant laser ionization techniques often limit the extraction of the nuclear observables due to the low spectral resolution of the pulsed laser systems deployed. [...]
