Production of pions, kaons and protons in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 900 GeV with ALICE at the LHC / ALICE Collaboration
The production of $\pi^+, pi^-, K^+, K^-$, p, and $\bar{p}$ at mid-rapidity has been measured in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 900 GeV with the ALICE detector. Particle identification is performed using the specific energy loss in the inner tracking silicon detector and the time projection chamber. [...]

Readout upgrade, hardware and software, for the ALICE data acquisition program / for the ALICE Collaboration
ALICE [experiment web site, May 10, 2009 <http://public.web.cern.ch/public/en/LHC/ALICEen.html> (A Large Ion Collider Experiment) is an experiment at the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) optimized for the study of heavy-ion collisions. The main aim of the experiment is to study the behavior of strongly interaction matter and quark gluon plasma. [...]

Transverse momentum spectra of charged particles in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 900 GeV with ALICE at the LHC / ALICE Collaboration
The inclusive charged particle transverse momentum distribution is measured in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 900$~GeV at the LHC using the ALICE detector. The measurement is performed in the central pseudorapidity region $(|\eta|<0.8)$ over the transverse momentum range $0.15_{\rm INEL}=0.483\pm0.001$~(stat.)~$\pm0.007$~(syst.)~GeV/$c$ and $\left_{\rm NSD}=0.489\pm0.001$~(stat.)~$\pm0.007$~(syst.)~GeV/$c$, respectively. Two-pion Bose-Einstein correlations in $pp$ collisions at $\sqrt{s}$=900 GeV / ALICE Collaboration
We report on the measurement of two-pion correlation functions from pp collisions at sqrt(s)=900 GeV performed by the ALICE experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. Our analysis shows an increase of the HBT radius with increasing event multiplicity, in line with other measurements done in particle- and nuclear collisions. [...]

Midrapidity antiproton-to-proton ratio in pp collisions at $\sqrt{s} = 0.9$ and $7$~TeV measured by the ALICE experiment / ALICE collaboration
The ratio of the yields of antiprotons to protons in pp collisions has been measured by the ALICE experiment at $\sqrt{s} = 0.9$ and $7$~TeV during the initial running periods of the Large Hadron Collider(LHC). The measurement covers the transverse momentum interval $0.45 < p_{\rm{t}} < 1.05$~GeV/$c$ and rapidity $|y| < 0.5$. [...]

Development of a simulated trigger generator for the ALICE commissioning / Alice Collaboration
This paper will describe the hardware and the software developed to build a random trigger simulator used to test the detectors of the ALICE experiment. It will also describe the tests performed in our laboratory at CERN on the random trigger generator to confirm its correct behavior and its installation details in one of the counting rooms of ALICE, where it provides the triggers for all the sub-detectors..

Online processing in the ALICE DAQ The detector algorithms / Alice Collaboration
ALICE (A Large Ion Collider Experiment) is the heavy-ion detector designed to study the physics of strongly interacting matter and the quark-gluon plasma at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Some specific calibration tasks are performed regularly for each of the 18 ALICE sub-detectors in order to achieve most accurate physics measurements. [...]

The ALICE Electronic Logbook / Alice Collaboration
All major experiments need tools that provide a way to keep a record of the events and activities, both during commissioning and operations. In ALICE (A Large Ion Collider Experiment) at CERN, this task is performed by the Alice Electronic Logbook (eLogbook), a custom-made application developed and maintained by the Data-Acquisition group (DAQ).
