Vintage Ikea 'Cirkel' Postmodern Acrylic and Metal Desk Lamp A sleek UFO-shaped desk lamp in a chromed steel and powder-coated black aluminium body with a postmodern translucent acrylic twist, the 'Cirkel' lamp produces a brilliant effect when lit. It requires standard E27 bulbs, works at 220V and has a standard European plug. We recommend a maximum of 60W for the bulbs in order to protect the acrylic detailing on the top from overheating. Origin: made by Ikea in the 1990s. Designer unknown. Condition: in very good, working condition. The upper lid of the lamp made out of perforated aluminium is missing. This does not impend the lamp's function in any way. The black powder-coated elements and the chrome pole are in excellent shape, no signs of rust, only minimal signs of wear. The acrylic discs are in good shape, with some visible scratches which is normal for this type of material. Overall a fine piece of postmodern design! Lightbulb included.
