Stunning Edwardian Shirtwaist Blouse Vintage Victorian/Downton Abby/SteamPunk Costume

Here is a scrumptious Edwardian Front Buttoning blouse Black silk with French Jet beading embellishment. It is so beautiful and would be fabulous as a display or to use as a pattern for understanding and reproducing period clothing. It is a front closure hidden by an elaborate ruffle In truth the closure goes diagonally up to the neck. This is a very petite garment measurements laid flat for top are: Shoulder to Shoulder:Front 12" Waist 12" Bust 13" Shoulder to Hem front Front 16" Sleeve Length: 20" wrist: 3.5" it is in Good vintage condition. The silk on the garment is strong in most places there are some holes on the right sleeve elbow and on the collar. The linen is strong and the lace at the collar is fraying and discolored. There is some small loss of beading in a couple places. The cuff lace is frayed as well in places I would not recommend this as a wearable garment. It could be used to enlarge and make a pattern I have over 200 articles of clothing originally purchased or created for the plays I have directed or costumed over the past 20 years.
