Today, I wanted to share a fun zip pouch project! I love zipper pouches, and have made so many! They are so useful, and I can't get enough of them!

If you never worked with vinyl I suggest you check this tut for tips and tricks. That is where I started as well. Start with picking up zippers and fabric scraps (strips). The strips I used are 8-10cm wide. As you can see I prefer to leave a room for trimming so I make my strips longer than the zipper. Use smaller strip (16x8cm) to create handle. Muriel Corbierre on Instagram: "👝 Vinyl pouch tutorial 👝 What you need: vinyl or cork 6.5" wide (16.5cm) by 10" tall (25.5cm), 7" (18cm) of #5 zipper tape, a zipper pull and 1/4" double side tape. A Teflon foot will avoid many frustrations... I used a microtex 90/14 needle and polyester gutermann thread. Dimensions can be changed easily for your needs.
