Linda Courtney on Instagram: "In 2 handed stranded knitting you sometimes need to trap the right hand yarn if you will be working more than an inch of left hand yarn stitches. This technique is slightly different than trapping the left hand yarn - but it is just as fun to work! #knittingtechniques #knitwisedesign #strandedknitting #knitting #knittinglife#knittersofinstagram"

David Van de Kamp on Instagram: "Here's a little tip how to fix that last bind off stitch that gets all stretched out. This can be done in any stitch pattern knitted flat and it will tighten up that edge. Let me know if there's anything you'd like me to demonstrate for my next Finishing techniques video. Didi on Instagram: "Follow for more crochet tips and tricks ❤️ Have you ever noticed your edges looking like this although you always count your stitches so your project turns out straight? This could be the problem! Instead of crocheting into both loops of the last stitch of your rows try crocheting into the FLO and the turning chain! This will give you the perfect edges every time! Try it out and tell me if it works for you 🥰🥰 You can also find more crochet tips in my highlights 😊 Hook by @furlscrochet #crochetersofinstagram #crochetbeginner #crochettips #crochettipsandtricks #crochethacks #crocheter #crocheting #singlecrochet"

Crochet by Morgan on Instagram: "So many people have asked for the single crochet foundation chain variation so here it is! I first learned the half double crochet foundation chain and knew I needed to figure out the single crochet foundation chain. Now foundation chains are also my go too. I use them anytime the pattern allows. Doing single crochets into a chain of 25+ stitches is not my favorite and the foundation chain eliminates the feeling of dread. I hope you are able to enjoy this stitch as much as I do 🫶🏼 Here’s a little tutorial of a single crochet foundation stitch 😁 It can be a little overwhelming at first but it’s so worth it and you’ll have it down in little to no time 🤍 I used Lion Brand Yarns—Wool Ease thick and easy with a 10mm Susan Bates Hook Like any stitch ther
Aspen Lyn Outlet | Hand-Embroidery on Instagram: "Got a little too excited there at the end… I have tried a million needle threaders and they don’t work for thicker yarn like a weight 5 or higher as you’re essentially doubling up the yarn and trying to push it through a hole only meant for 1 amount of yarn not 2! So give this a try if you’ve broken a needle threader or 2! Haha! If you’re worried about wasting paper you can keep using it by cutting off the ripped off part. Or try to pull the yarn through without ripping the paper! You could also use an envelope from junk mail or any paper you have floating around. I found that even newspaper could work!! How cool is this hack?!? . . . . #diyembroidery #sulky #embroiderykit #beginnerembroidery #embroiderytutorial #embroidery #handembroi
Makalani Sæther | Crochet design and inspiration | Bergen NO on Instagram: "How to make the JASMINE STITCH foundation row! Let me break it down for you 💕 First, remember to save this for later🤍 The Jasmine Stitch foundation row does not consist of a row of chain stitches, but of a row of petals 🌸 Slip knot and place it on the hook. Chain 1. First Petal: Pull the loop on your hook to about 2cm (or the length you want). Yarn over (YO). Insert hook through ch st. YO and pull through. You now have 3 loops on hook. Stretch all to about 2cm. Yarn over again. Insert hook through the ch st again. YO and pull up a loop. You have 5 loops on hook. Stretch all to about 2cm. Now, secure these 5 loops using a sc + ch st: Yarn over. Pinch working yarn (the yarn below the hook) to secure (see ho
