I'm Back

Well I'm back from Egypt. It was a crazy trip we were going all the time. But we saw a ton. It is amazing how much you can do in one day when you really want to. But because of that we all were exasted and all got sick. Which most of us are still recovering from. But it was worth it. There is a lot of cool stuff there. plus we rode camels, boats on the nile, trains across the country, planes above it, and busses all around. So we got to see it all in every way. Now we have been home for a few days and our classes have been making up for lost time. Strangly enough we took two of our finals today. and we have only had class like 3 times for each of the classes. But there over now so that is nice. On sunday we leave for Galilee and will be there for 10 days while we study the New testament. It will be great. This is the part of this trip that I have been looking most forward to.

The last few days

Well I've been here in Jerusalem now for a few days, our schedule here is crazy, we are always doing something. Even our free time if full because of all the homework and all the stuff we want to go see. I been to see a few of the things in the city now and it really is amazing. I'll have to post a few more pictures here in a couple of days. Today was kind of interesting becasue we had our Palistinian culture class cancled. Our teacher lives in bethlehem which is in the west bank, but Israel closed the border so he couldn't get across to teach us. It is interesing to be here and see how the conflict between these two peoples affects the indivduals that live here. It gives one a different perspective on things.

I made it

Hey everybody Well it took a while and I am deffintaly sleep deprived but I finaly made it to Jerusalm. I got about 3 hours of sleep last night but I feel a lot better after taking a shower. We had a n 11 hours layover in Vienna so we got to get out of the airport and walk around the city. It is actually a really pretty city, very clean compaired to many of the other european cities. I'm excited to start some classes today, and to tour arround Jerusalm.

In the Beginning

So I am starting this Blog so that I can post pictures and such from my trips. Starting with my trip to the middle east, which starts this coming Tuesday. I don't plan on writing Detailed descriptions of things but I will probably put captions on my pictures and things. So it is mostly for me but I hope that you enjoy it as well.
