Vintage black label Gunne Sax by Jessica boho lace corseted maxi dress, rare size 11. Gorgeous ethereal, black label Gunne from 1969-early 1970s. Corseted waist, zip back with hook and eye closure, zip cuffs, cotton muslin material with amazing peasant style lace overlay, puffed sleeves. Floor length with ruffle at bottom hem, puffed sleeves, lace peplum at waist. Cream colored. 100% cotton. Rare vintage size 11 Gunne, would best fit up to a size 4, or smaller 6. Chest size is flexible due to corseting. Waist is pretty generous for such an old dress, but hip size isn't. Excellent vintage condition, but some slight discoloration on sides of lace at neck-line, shown in last pic. As fabric is cream colored, this is not noticeable really. I also think a good soak might remove it. Bottom hem is a little frayed on inside only in one spot, but does not affect integrity or wearability. Really lovely for its age. This dress would be epic to wear as a wedding dress, to a festival, to any formal event where you want to attend with some boho hippie flair. Black label Gunnes are extra special, there are less of them, and they are usually cotton, as this one is. Jessica McClintock made black label Gunnes starting in 1969 into the early 70s, when the label switched to the more common gold labels.
