Hello! I wanted to share a quick and easy DIY frame for a poster or print. I got the idea from Michelle at 4 Men 1 Lady years ago. Here is how we did it: She picked this poster from Art.com -- it is called Green Valley IV by Ethan Harper. It was the 40" X 30" for $25 and we cut the white from around it. Get a pine lattice strip (this one was from Lowe's in the trim section by the windows) for around $4 for an 8 ft piece. Cut it to size and stain it if you want to -- I used Minwax classic…

When I finished setting up my office, there was this empty wall space above the desk begging for some art. But let’s be real, large wall art can be crazy expensive. I had picked up this torn saree from my mom during a trip to India, hoping to use it for a DIY project someday. And it was the perfect choice for this wall art project. You can use a saree, a rug, a shawl, a dupatta or any large fabric you have.
