Botmaker Badges

We use Mozilla’s Open Badges (openbadges.org) to issues our badges. As a creative bot maker, you can apply for the following badges when contributing to Botwiki.

Botmaker Badge

We’ve awarded 244 badges! 🎉

To apply, add your bot to Botwiki using our submit form, and at the end click the option Apply for Botmaker Badge. The email will not, of course, be published or used for anything other than to send you your badge.

If your bot is already on Botwiki, you can send us an email (or a DM on Twitter) with your email address and a link to your bot.

Bot Teacher

To apply for this badge, send us an email (or a DM on Twitter) with your email address and a link to at least one tutorial that teaches how to make a bot.

Please also provide a short description that includes information on the targeted audience (beginner, advanced) and language(s) and technologies used.

It is not necessary for the tutorial to be re-hosted on Botwiki, but if you’d like, this can be done 🙂

In the past we’ve also awarded badges to the winners of our Monthly Bot Challenge.
