I had a lot of fun with this Dirty Girl challenge on Splitcoaststampers. It was one that prbloom suggested. You were to color your image green or blue.
I got my stamped image from Joy and Daisy's store: eclectic Paperie, the ribbon is from Cindy's store: StarlitStudio and the senitment is from: Stamping Bella
Well, today I had some time to stamp and was inspired by the challenges they are posting over at Splitcoast. I did 3 challenges, but only have time to post 2 of them.
One of them was for Sweet Miss Daisy's Challenge to make a card for a pet. I made a card and used paper and stamped images from eclectic Paperie (Joy and Daisy's online store).
The other one was an ATC card from Taylor's ATC challenge. I used the Serendipity Technique for one of them and the sweet dog ATC is from eclectic Paperie, too.
I hope you all go on over to SCS and get inspired, too!!
I dusted off my chalks to use with both of these cards. I even chalked the thread on the first card. Both cards used papers from Basic Grey; Scarletts letter. I think I will use my chalks more often. I like the soft effect of color.
This is a post of my latest recipe page for a 6 by 6 album I am making. I just sewed all the layers together and added some buttons. I was pleased with how it turned out.
I really enjoy creating recipe pages. This is one that I just finished. My good friend, Cambria, sent me 360 pieces of paper from My Mind's Eye that she picked up at her Costco. I figured I had better start using this paper up. I sewed around the edges...love that Janome sewing machine!!
I turned the recipe around....What recipe would you put there? I know what one I have.
My aunts who were here for the family reunion are quilters. I took them to a local quilt shop. It is like looking at patterned paper but for fabrics. I saw this cute idea for a quilted bag and this is a picture of what I purchased for the material for the bag. And the finished bag is all ready done!!
My aunt, mom and dad arrived safe and sound for the family reunion.
Here they are doing a jigsaw puzzle. Our family likes doing jigsaw puzzle. This one is almost finished.
I have no pictures to post today. I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be blogging about my family reunion on my blog for the next few days. That way the folks that couldn't make it to Illinois this year can see what is going on with the rest of us. I am getting excited to see everyone and catch up on what is happening and of course...eating! I hope you and your families are as fortunate as mine and can get together this summer.
I love to make 6 by 6 recipe pages and here is one of my fave pages. I Love the look of black and white. I used an ME stamp and a stamp from Crafty Secrets. I think it turned out really nice.
This is a recipe that I shared with my mom and she won first prize for Best Cherry Recipe with her church group. It was fun to hear that she won. Try this recipe sometime.........
I absolutely LOVE Waffles. Last night I was going through a "stash" of stuff I had previously purchased. I found a kit from Rusty Pickle that I never made use of. It was suppose to be a calendar book......but I thought "Hey this would make a perfect Waffle Recipe Book!!"
So every Sunday we have been having Belgian Waffles and I am saving the recipes in this book. It should be fun and interesting to document this new Sunday Tradition!!

This is one of my favorite stamp sets from SU. I made this card in Pink and brown. It has all my favorites: colors and the use of brads
Welcome to my blog. I hope you will find time to view what I have stamped and to be inspired to stamp along with me. This is a first for me.....blogging that is.. I have been stamping and scrapbooking for many years. The inspiration from my stamping friends delights me each and every day. I hope that I can inspire others to enjoy stamping.
I am a wife, mother, Speech Language Pathologist in the Public Schools and a stamper.
I have loved stamping ever since I started stamping. The icing on the cake about this hobby is that I have met wonderful wonderful fellow stampers on this journey.
