Went out for dinner with someone i haven't met for 1 year. Sometimes I just find it amazing how one could talk to such friends for hours and on the other hand, one might find difficult to start a conversation with others.

First time I've been to Lot one after midnight. Had difficulty trying to find the entrance cause the glass doors were locked. Tried a flight of stairs but realized that all the way till 5th floor, the doors were locked. Had to come down again and found a service lift to use. So, now I know the way! Anyway, bought movie tickets at 12.05am when it started at 12. Hee...

Watched 'The Chronicles of Narnia - The lion, the witch and the wardrobe'. Pretty nice show to me. Just that when I saw so much snow, plus the aircon, I felt really really cold. I like the lion and the beaver. Actually, the witch's make up is quite cool too... White mascara..

Hopefully the sequel to this movie will happen 10 years later... About 2 pple who will explore countries and xmas markets. And the title would be

' The Chronicles of Aachen - The sausage, the salted egg, and the feeelling'

went there yest for dinner... quite nice place... managed to drink most of my beer. Had a pint of Cherriez ale. Quite nice!

still remember how i went with b once to have a drink. But actually, only b drank and i sipped.. haha... Now, I drink close to a pint.

next time can go again.. but not too much beer.. will have beer belly

Lately, I've decided that I am sick and tired of my hair...Just went for a haircut. Only trimmed it a little but it doesn't seem enough. Feel like doing something even more drastic...

Cut it short short?
Dye some shocking colour?

we'll see. think about the cash first..

Xmas weekend 3

Now for the 3rd xmas party of the year... At des house!!

Went to NTUC at 1+ with sab and wf to buy ingredients for salad and dessert. Then went to the house to prepare the food. Most were already done by the grandma. We just prepared normal salad, potato salad and fruit cocktail. It's our first time to do potato salad, so actually there was lots of trial and error.. hee... Ended up pretty ok. Not fantastic though. Will improve next time!

Watched dvds, ate dinner and then played charades. Charades are utterly hilarious!!! Guys vs. gals. Categories were movies, singapore locations and songs by local chi singers. So, things like ang mo kio came out... And the gals are really good at chinese songs. I had lots of fun! Thanks to the 2 hosts!

Stayed over, dozed off for a while. santa's bed collapsed cause too many pple were on it. Went for supper, played a bit of cards with eyes half open and then dragged myself home.. Collapsed for 8 full hours after that..

So that's the end of my xmas celebrations I guess..... 3 late nights of playing. Getting old.. Can't stay up for very long anymore...

Xmas weekend 2

2nd posting... About xmas eve... but before that, MeRrY x'MaS!!!

This year, xmas eve was spent with my dancing friends. It's amazing how I have such fun friends around.. I'm just so lucky. From sec sch, jc, uni and now dance. Anyway, went out with them cause I didn't have any programmes anyway and there was dance class this afternoon. So, the group of us went for dinner first. Then, we went to play pool near maxwell market.

And we headed to Xen Bar. If I'm not wrong, it was the first salsa club. There weren't many pple there so it was pretty good.. We went into one of the rooms and hid there. There were 15 of us to begin with (3 not from my class - my fren and classmate's frens) !! So, 15 of us were there in the room practicing the little dance steps we knew. Only one guy knew much more moves cause he learnt before. Danced with him and I have to say that it's definitely fun if the guy can lead well. Basically, salsa is a guy lead dance. So as long as the guy leads properly, the girl will naturally know what to do and when to turn. It's pretty cool eh!

Stayed there till abt 1pm? Went for drinks and a little supper. Then headed home.. And now, I'm typing this posting.. It's 3+am again and I need to sleep soon again.. hee...

Xmas weekend

This is the start of xmas weekend. While I'm still awake and waiting for hair to dry, I better type this first. Not sure if I have time in the next two days. Perhaps while I'm waiting for hair to dry too... hahaha...

Went to zhen's place for party. It's always so fun to be with gd frens. Can joke and can even say corny stuff and pple will get it!! Can't really be corny at office. Pple will just go 'huh?!?' Sad ah... Anyway, the sec grp of us were reliving our sec sch days... The days where we dump food into grace's drink.. hahaha.. Let's see what went into her cocktail.. There was marshmallow, cherry tomato, grounded peanuts, corn. Yeah, foodstuff like that.. hahaha

Sat on the swing for quite a long time.. Those metal swing where two pple sit facing each other. Sat until my butt quite pain. Sat until I gave my seat up so that I can relieve my butt of some pressure.. haha.. But it's really really relaxing to just swing and swing.

Anyway... Thank you Zhen!!!!!!! Nice present!!! I like I like.... Now, I will really go take jap language. Make sure that I can read my Totoro comics!!

P.S. Don't sit on a swing for a couple of hours.. Even though I'm at my computer table now, I still feel like I'm swinging.. hahahaha

Da Vinci

I'm proud to say that I finish reading the Da Vinci Code!! Okok, i know that it came out quite long ago and lots of pple have read it. But I haven't until now. Saw it at my colleague's cubicle, so I borrowed it.

Have to say that it's quite interesting... Couldn't really put down the book so I finished it quite fast.... It's interesting how the author can come out with the plot and details

Movies Review

Ok.. amazing i watched 2 movies in 2 consecutive days... wah.. so arty farty.. hahaha. Oh yes, and a concert too. Let's talk abt the concert first.

Went for Budak Pantai's accapella concert. Dunno abt other people but I quite enjoy it. It's really nice to hear accapella group sing live and well. It's very different from listening to cd. Live performance is much much much better. Unlike many modern pop singers.. The group is super crappy. They managed to link all the songs to the 'christmas' theme. Far fetched for example saying there was a hokkien group 2000 years ago in some western country.. Really crappy

King Kong - I watched yesterday. Actually I went cause my friend wanted to watch so I just accompany lor. Heard some pple saying that it's good too. After watching it, I think it's good too! It's a whole 3 hours too. Really worth the money. But I don't like the ending. So sad.. I dun like sad endings.... I think it's the movie that made me tear the most in the cinema. Really bad.. BAD

Perhaps Love - I watched it today. Not bad. Got a lot of songs and jacky cheung can sing so well! Think there's no one who can take over jacky's title of 'Ge shen'. Jin cheng wu also not bad and definitely good looking. hee.. It's very interesting to watch a show within a show too..

night

guess where i went...... can't guess? I went for ocs social night. Yes, the army ocs ocs.. Went to help fren be his date. Also go and see see what social night is all about... Anyway, nothing very special cause it's in the camp. Wear jeans and normal top (which is why i'm willing to go).

well, i guess it's definitely the guys' night. They'll understand more and they know people mah.. After dinner, I sat beside this gal and we started to chat. Not bad ah... Can get along quite well. Well enough to keep us entertained throughout the night cause the guys will disappear sometimes to find their frens.

overall, ok ah... i'm pretty tired to think too much. Yawned a few times inside. Think i need more sleep this month

i'm back!!! after 3 days and 2 nights at sentosa... hee... actually i'm typing this with my eyes half open. Didn't sleep enough.

Went with my family and invited cousins over. 2 uncles, 1 auntie and 3 cousins came. Didn't do much there lah... Mainly played mahjong and pool. Walked a bit along the beach, or actually we took the beach bus and train for most of the time. Didn't stay along the beach for too long cause it was too hot. Some cannot take the heat. Almost tried the 'Luge' (the go-kart thingy) but in the end, decided not to.

Well well.. there's nothing very much to do if u dun feel like spending money on tourist attractions, but it's a good time to slack off. That's other than the fact that I disappeared during yest afternoon to go for my first salsa class for a few hours.

So.. i'm working on my mahjong skills.. hahaha.. It's going to be mahjong season again!

chicken little

=) i watched the movie on monday.. quite funny!!! Well before the funny parts, my eyes were wet again at the beginning. Can't remember which scene. I think it was when chicken little was quite sad. Jia lat.. my eyes can get wet pretty fast. Amazing that I dun really cry in real life incidents yet..

Anyway back to the funny part. Chicken little is so little and cute! The fish is dumb but also cute. Well well, I guess it's expected ah. Most cartoons are cute!

i feel like blogging.. i just have the urge to write things.. more of happy things...

but then i also dunno wat to write.. or wat happy things are there for me to write? aiyah.. dunno lah.. i just feel like writing so i'm just letting my fingers do the work.
