英語と中国語の相互翻訳 Googleのインスタントメッセンジャー「Google Talk」で会話の翻訳が可能になった。 翻訳はグループチャットを設けて、翻訳専用のボットをグループに入れることで実現する。翻訳の組み合わせは、"翻訳前の言語"2"翻訳後の言語"@bot.talk.google.comで指定する。 例えば英語から中国語の翻訳を追加する場合は、[email protected].google.comをグループに追加すると、英語で入力した会話のすぐ後にボット(en2zh)が中国語の翻訳を書き込んでくれる。さらに[email protected].google.comも加えれば相互翻訳が可能だ。 現在、en2ja (英語から日本語)、ja2en (日本語から英語)を含む24の組み合わせの翻訳ボットが用意されている。他の言語の組み合わせについては、Google Talkのブログtalkaboutにア
