Oxidised silver Arrowhead pendant decorated with the same La Tène style ancient Celtic designs that are sometimes encountered by Archaeologists and featured in the design of the pre-roman Battersea Shield. The La Tene style is the name given to elite art and artefacts created by part of the ancient culture known to us as the Celts. It developed and flourished during the Iron Age of pre-Roman Europe around 2500 to 2000 years ago. This pendant has been cast in silver from a hand carved master pattern. It measures around 4.3cm or one and three quarter inches.
