Antique Georgian Sterling and 18k Gold Rose Cut Diamond Cluster Ring

This listing is for an antique Georgian Period Rose cut diamond cluster ring set in sterling silver and 18K gold. The top of this ring is of the period and has been authenticated as such, but the shank has been replaced at some point during her very long life. This is very typical of Georgian pieces. There are solder marks and several hallmarks on the shank. These hallmarks pertain to the shank only. The ring is a size 8.25 U. S . The shank dates to the 1920's. It does test as 18 k and the ring weighs 3.9 grams. It is nearly impossible to get an accurate weight on these old rose cuts but they are all intact and have a pretty sparkle. There are 11 diamonds in this ring. One is set in the the center of the ring and is surrounded by 10 other rose cut diamonds. There is wear to the ring as would be expected of a piece of this age but all of the diamonds are intact. Wear is commensurate with age.
