We're starting off with a cup and a half of pecans. Two sticks of butter and a half a cup of sugar in our pot on medium heat. We're going to let that boil down until we get a nice consistency. We're going to pour our pecan mixture into our loaf pan that we greased. Once we have our pecan mixture in there, we're going to flatten it down and I'm going to bring in a glass bowl and my butter recipe Yellow cake mix. Any cake mix will work for this. We're going to use that whole box of cake mix and then one whole jar of apple sauce. I'm using the cinnamon apple sauce but you can use whatever apple sauce you like. Mix those together until you get a cake batter consistency. We're going to pour our cake batter into our loaf pan covering those pecans. Bake at 350 for about 40 minutes. Flip it over and there you go. So yummy. Enjoy.

I like to make these for my Christmas Pop-Up Shop, but this year I’m including them in some treat boxes for Thanksgiving. I’m also thinking of giving them as little gifts to those who attend my Thanksgiving Pop-Up! I know there are many different ways to make Cake Balls, but this is how we do it! I know there’s a way to make them without the icing, but I actually like the icing.😊 Use whatever flavors you want, but we’ve had success with vanilla, chocolate, spice cake, strawberry, orange, and red velvet. You can freeze these but just watch for cracks (nothing a little more drizzle can’t hide). You can also keep them refrigerated for up to two weeks. #cakeballs #homebakery #myhomebakery #cakeballtutorial #howtomakecakeballs #homebakerybusiness | Michelle Chesser

Gonna prepare that just as the box says. Nice. Which is half a cup of vegetable oil. Mhm. One and a fourth cup of water. And three X. Now take your spoon. Get this all mixed together. Oops. That looks good and mixed. Okay. Now you're going to take one cup of coconut. Mhm. And spread it into your greased 9 by 13 baking pan. Mm. And then one, let's get these flies. Get the clumps out? Yeah. Not as well. Okay, now you're going to take one cup of chopped pecans. Mhm. And sprinkle that on the bottom. Okay. Now you're going to take your prepared German chocolate cake mix. Mhm. And you're going to pour it over the pecans and coconut. Just get it coated over everything? Yes. This is going to be an interesting little base down there. Yes. And what do we do next? Okay next you're going to take eight ounce cream cheese stick of butter. Gonna cream this together and then we're going to add some stuff to it. Mm. Okay I've got those two cream together where they're fluffy. Now here's the key. You're going to add four cups of powdered sugar. Oh my heavens. That's a lot. Sweet. So we're going to grab would y'all add four cups or would y'all add well I thought about adding just three. Yeah. Um but four cups this is just like what is powdered sugar? Is it just pure sugar? Like we got two in there right now. So let's put our together? Yes. Looks really good. Okay, now we did not put four cups. We only put two and a teaspoon of vanilla. Mm hmm. This way, it's not going to give you no diabetic comb. Mm hmm. And all you're going to do now is take this. Mhm. And you're just going to dollop it onto your cake. Just in little I've never this is called a earthquake cake. Earthquake. Mhm. Earthquake. And we're just kind of dolloping these on. Yes and then we'll probably take us a a knife and kind of run it through there. Mhm. And have it marbleized. Yeah. Just Just kind of marble it a little bit. I'll marble it just a little bit. But it says just drop it on there. Mhm. Maybe it says what's a earthquake cake. Kinda looks like mashed potatoes and gravy. Yeah well I hope it don't taste like mashed potatoes and gravy. It sure won't. Okay I think. I think it's ready to rock. Watch out for Lim. She's being a little oh she's fine. But it's going to be delicious. I think it will. Okay, here we go. 15 minutes. Alright, Oh wow. It's going to be good. And you gotta let it cool. For how long? Say about 10 minutes or so. And then we're going to cut in and see what this puppy looks like. That's right. Look. It smells delicious. It looks wonderful. Alright let's try this thing. Okay. Oh it cuts like butter. That is good cut. Okay, Tylen. This here. I'm going to try and go at this one. Oh I have to go this way. Look at that. Mm that look good. Earthquake cajun. Earthquake? Earthquake. Missed that a little bit. Let me go ahead and give you that. Listen, I'm all about some German chocolates. Imma have to try this myself. Is it good?

I get compliments each and every week about how great it taste. How light and fluffy it is. How they don’t usually like buttercream but can’t get enough of mine 🤭🤭 Ok so here’s the recipe It’s pretty simple 4 sticks softened unsalted butter 4 cups of sifted powder sugar Flavor to taste. 1-2tsp extract for those who need a measurement That’s it. Literally. And please don’t ask me if I use milk. Do you see it listed above? Ok cool. I prefer using quality butter and by softened I mean a bit softer than room temp. Not melted but not any firmness to it at all. I scoop loose cups meaning I don’t mash in the powder sugar. I place my butter in the mixer first. Paddle attachment. And allow it to cream. It should lighten in color Then I add in the powdering one cup at a time and allow to keep blending. Then I add my flavor once all the sugar is blended. I mix on low. Sometimes I let the high hit real quick just to knock the extra sugar loose. But yeah. Low. The whole process only takes around 6-7 minutes. It’s like boiling water. Don’t watch it. lol. When you come@back it’ll be smooth. . #buttercreamrecipe #buttercream #baker #cake #cakes #nolacakes #cakeclasses #cakeclass #cakeinstructor #onlinecakeclass #caketutorial #icingtutorial | Julie Fradella

My Favorite Dream Cake! | My Favorite Dream Cake! | By Kim J | Alright, what we got here, Kim? Okay, we got some yellow cake mix. Mm. Gonna dump that in our bowl. We're going to add in one box of vanilla instant pudding. Mm. 4 eggs. Or butt nuggets. Yes, we don't have any of those though. A teaspoon of cinnamon. Sprinkle that in there. A tablespoon of brown sugar. And a tablespoon of regular sugar. One three no three fourths cups of water. Okay. And three fourths cup of vegetable oil. You can substitute with apple sauce but didn't have apple sauce today. So we had to go to the and what's the name of this? Crack cake? This is the cracked cake. I why does everything have to say crack now? I'm not sure. I I wonder the same thing because that and this was a old I mean old recipe. Yeah because we've made like a bunch of stuff online that's like cracked chicken, cracked pot roast, cracked peppers, cracked whatever. But now we're going to crack cake. Lot of crack in our in our society that we live in. In the cooking society. Yeah. Yeah. You're getting a little workout there twisting thing. Wanna get it good and mixed up. Oh yeah. So I'm going to put this in the comments. Oops. But we got the cracked cake recipe right here. So this is what we're going to be making today. And yes you saw it right. It's white wine but we are using non-alcoholic wine. So you'll see that for the topping. It's going to be good. That looks pretty good mix, right? I think I got all my lumps out. Yes. You did. You're good at it. Okay, now we're going to put and we did spray our bundt cake pan with Baker's Joy. Baker's Joy. This is probably the best stuff you can get for making these bunties. Yes. Operate that. I get that. It happens all of us. Now we're going to shake it a little bit where it'll be level. Mhm. We're going to bake this at 350 for about 45 minutes. Okay. 10 minutes before this gets done. We're going to make the topping. Cuz you have to pour it on it while it's hot. Is it called cracked topping? I guess so. Yeah we call it cracked topping. 45 minutes. Okay we got a stick of butter. Gonna melt it. Got a/ 4 cup of white grape juice. You can use white wine. But we're going to do the non-alcoholic. Mhm. And one of sugar. Gonna let this all once the sugar disintegrates then you can pour it over your cake. You want to do it while the cake's hot and while this is hot. Okay and this is Welch's sparkling grape juice right? Yes. I think we got the bottle over here. Yes I have this is what we're using right here. Non-alcoholic juice cocktail from concentrate. This stuff is good. As a kid Kim my sister and I we used to love playing with that and my youngster she well she's 18 now, but she likes as always all the kids. That's what we celebrate with on New Year's. Yeah. Great. On New Year's we have our champagne which is our juice. That's all done. That looks really nice. Okay. Now we're going to go over here and get our cake. Cuz you want to do you want to pour this creamy goodness on the cake while it's hot right? Just want to see. And then we wait. 15 minutes. Before you dump it. Or turn it over and see if it'll dump. Oh Kim. This is that looks very nice. Guess it's going to seep down in there. That's it. Yeah. I see it seeping a little bit. But I'd say this will be a moist cake. Mm it looks like it will be. Okay, I guess that's why it says wait 15 or 20 minutes because of all the. Mm hmm. Alright, time to flip this thing. Okay, we're ready? Mm hmm. Gear. You got this. One, two, three. Ken. We have a clean pan. That's perfectly. Baker's Joy. And this moist. I think the cake it's soaked up all that juice. Right? Yeah because look at it. Yeah. Oh. And I'd say it's best if you eat it warm. Mhm. Okay let's oh that is moist. It just kind of melts in or melt down. I wonder they call it cracked cake. I thought you'd be addicted to it. Uh Oh, look at that. You see how moist it is. Alright, try that cam and let's see what you think. Always love the ends. Oh look, it is really moist. Oh my goodness. Is that good? You got to try it. Mm. That's real good. Y'all this is it.

Wrapping cakes before they’ve cooled traps the stream within the cake. I cool a cake layer in its pan for 15 minutes and then turn it onto a piece of plastic wrap and wrap it up. Then I place the cake back in the pan with the bottom side up. This allows the top of the cake to settle as it cools, so any dome will disappear as the cake rests. I cool the wrapped layers in their pans, and once cool place them in the fridge to chill. Cold cake layers are easier to handle and make assembly much easier. And storing the cake layers in the pans means that the pans can be stacked and fit into the corners of your refrigerator without damaging the delicate layers. #cake #cakedecorating #cakebaker #baking #layercake #baker | Dan Langan
