I asked everyone to bring or buy (the party was in an indie bookstore after all!) a book they loved. We had a wrapping and labeling station on site for people to help their book find the right reader!

I passed out numbers 1-33 and when your number was called, you had two options: either pick an unclaimed book from the pile (in which case, you had to come read the description to the group) or you could steal someone else’s book! Each book could be stolen up to three times. And then at the end, we all unwrapped!! And people could swap if they’d already read theirs ♥️
