Amanda Adams on Instagram: "The weather was perfect, and everyone’s hair and makeup was flawless. I just arrived to the bridal suite to begin photographing her stepping into her gown. As I pulled my lenses out of my bag the Mother of the Bride carefully unzipped the back of her daughter’s gown. Her fiancé was more than ready to see his bride. What we didn’t know was that he was going to have to wait 15 minutes longer than we planned. All I have to say is, thank God for my emergency wedding kit! (PS - when unplanned situations pop up like this, having a well-planned timeline is a necessity. Always plan for cushions of time.) I’ve been spending some time Associate Shooting for @meganbennettphoto , taking me back to Maryland occasionally and I’ve enjoyed it immensely. These two had a fast connection with each other. And like they say - when you know, you know. They were married yesterday at the Loyola Alumni Chapel on campus and between breaths of nervous energy they exchanged vows and promises to each other. Tears of joy rolled down Allison’s dad’s cheeks as this was happening and the entire night remained at that special high through dinner and dancing. Congratulations, Joe and Allison!!
