Transverse momentum $p_{\rm T}$ spectra and anisotropic flow distributions are studied for charmonia and charmed hadrons produced in Pb-Pb collisions and measured with the ALICE detector at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The investigations are performed within the framework of the Statistical Hadronization Model with the transverse dynamics evaluated using predictions from relativistic viscous hydrodynamics as implemented in the computer codes MUSIC and FluiduM. With this essentially parameter-free approach good agreement is obtained for $p_{\rm T}$ spectra in the range $p_{\rm T} < 10$ GeV/c. The observed wide distribution in $p_{\rm T}$ of anisotropic flow coefficients $v_2$ and $v_3$ for charmonia is also well reproduced, while their magnitude is generally somewhat over predicted. This finding may be connected to a difference in spatial distribution between light and charmed hadrons due to a different diffusion of light and heavy quarks in the hot fireball.

The $Ξ_c^0$ baryon is unstable and usually decays into charmless final states by the $c \to s u\overline{d}$ transition. The $Ξ_c^0$ baryon is unstable and usually decays into charmless final states by the $c \to s u\overline{d}$ transition. It can, however, also disintegrate into a $π^-$ meson and a $Λ_c^+$ baryon via $s$ quark decay or via $cs\to d c$ weak scattering. The interplay between the latter two processes governs the size of the branching fraction ${\cal{B}}$$(Ξ_c^0\to π^-Λ_c^+)$, first measured here to be $(0.55\pm 0.02 \pm 0.18)$%, where the first uncertainty is statistical and second systematic. This result is compatible with the larger of the theoretical predictions that connect models of hyperon decays using partially conserved axial currents and SU(3) symmetry with those involving the heavy-quark expansion and heavy-quark symmetry. In addition, the branching fraction of the normalization channel, ${\cal{B}}(Ξ_c^+\to p K^- π^+) = (1.135 \pm 0.002 \pm 0.387)$% is measured.

We report four narrow peaks in the $Ξ_b^0K^-$ mass spectrum obtained using $pp$ collisions at center-of-mass energies of 7, 8 and 13 TeV, corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 9 fb$^{-1}$ recorded by the LHCb experiment. Referring to these states by their mass, the mass values are \begin{align*} m(Ω_b(6316)^-) &= 6315.64\pm0.31\pm0.07\pm0.50 {\rm MeV}, \\ m(Ω_b(6330)^-) &= 6330.30\pm0.…

The natural widths of the three lower mass states are consistent with zero, and the 90% confidence-level upper limits are determined to be ${Γ(Ω_b(6316)^-)<2.8}$ MeV, ${Γ(Ω_b(6330)^-)<3.1}$ MeV and ${Γ(Ω_b(6340)^-)<1.5}$ MeV. The natural width of the $Ω_b(6350)^-$ peak is $1.4^{+1.0}_{-0.8}\pm0.1$ MeV, which is 2.5$σ$ from zero and corresponds to an upper limit of 2.8 MeV. The peaks have local significances ranging from 3.6$σ$ to 7.2$σ$. After accounting for the look-elsewhere effect, the significances of the $Ω_b(6316)^-$ and $Ω_b(6330)^-$ peaks are reduced to 2.1$σ$ and 2.6$σ$ respectively, while the two higher mass peaks exceed 5$σ$. The observed peaks are consistent with expectations for excited $Ω_b^-$ resonances.

Ratios of isospin amplitudes in hadron decays are a useful probe of the interplay between weak and strong interactions, and allow searches for physics beyond the Standard Model. We present the first results on isospin amplitudes in $b$-baryon decays, using data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 8.5 fb$^{-1}$, collected with the LHCb detector in $pp$ collisions at center of mass energies of 7, 8 and 13 TeV. The isospin amplitude ratio $|A_1(Λ_b^0\to J/ψΣ^0)/A_0(Λ_b^0\to J/ψΛ)|$, where the subscript on $A$ indicates the final-state isospin, is measured to be less than 1/21.8 at 95\% confidence level. The Cabibbo suppressed $Ξ_b^0\to J/ψΛ$ decay is observed for the first time, allowing for the measurement $|A_0(Ξ_b^0\to J/ψΛ)/A_{1/2}(Ξ_b^0\to J/ψΞ^0)| =0.37 \pm 0.06\pm 0.02$, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively.

The Monte Carlo event generator HYDJET++ is one of the few generators, designed for the calculations of heavy-ion collisions at ultrarelativistic energies, which combine treatment of soft hydro-like processes with the description of jets traversing the hot and dense partonic medium. The model is employed to study the azimuthal anisotropy phenomena, dihadron angular correlations and event-by-event (EbyE) fluctuations of the anisotropic flow in Pb+Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} = 2.76$ TeV. The interplay of soft and hard processes describes the violation of the mass hierarchy of meson and baryon elliptic and triangular flows at p_T > 2 GeV/c, the fall-off of the flow harmonics at intermediate transverse momenta, and the worsening of the number-of-constituent-quark (NCQ) scaling of elliptic/triangular flow at LHC compared to RHIC energies. The cross-talk of v_2 and v_3 leads to emergence of higher order harmonics in the model and to appearance of the ridge structure in dihadron angular correlations in a broad pseudorapidity range. HYDJET++ possesses also the dynamical EbyE fluctuations of the anisotropic flow. The model results agree well with the experimental data.

Triangular flow $v_3$ of identified and inclusive particles in Pb+Pb collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}} = 2.76$ TeV is studied as a function of centrality and transverse momentum within the \textsc{hydjet++} model. The model enables one to investigate the influence of both hard processes and final-state interactions on the harmonics of particle anisotropic flow. Decays of resonances are found to increase the magnitude of the $v_3(p_{\rm T})$ distributions at $p_{\rm T} \geq 2$ GeV/$c$ and shift their maxima to higher transverse momenta. The $p_{\rm T}$-integrated triangular flow, however, becomes slightly weakened for all centralities studied. The resonance decays also modify the spectra towards the number-of-constituent-quark scaling fulfillment for the triangular flow, whereas jets are the main source of the scaling violation at the energies available at the CERN Large Hadron Collider (LHC). Comparison with the corresponding spectra of elliptic flow reveals that resonance decays and jets act in a similar manner on both $v_3(p_{\rm T})$ and $v_2(p_{\rm T})$ behavior. Obtained results are also confronted with the experimental data on differential triangular flow of identified hadrons, ratio $v_3^{1/3}(p_{\rm T}) / v_2^{1/2}(p_{\rm T})$ and $p_{\rm T}$-integrated triangular flow of charged hadrons.
