RED CREEK JASPER Earrings, Natural Stone Earrings, Rustic Stone Earrings

This is a pair of RED CREEK JASPER EARRINGS hand-carved in MARQUISE shape with COPPER wire wraps and ear wires. This stone is GORGEOUS! Love the warm, rich shades of green, gold, cream, and gray. SO pretty! These earrings are just a hair over 2.5" long and the stone measures roughly 38x12.5x4mm and they were hand-carved and polished. There is a soft sheen--not a high polish, and the colors are PERFECTLY complemented with the copper findings. If you love these and want silver or gold findings instead, I will change them out, and I can change the ear wires for lever backs or kidney wires if requested. I LOVE this stone, and these earrings are truly one of a kind. If they don't sell quickly, they may end up in my jewelry box! RED CREEK JASPER is also called CHERRY CREEK JASPER and was discovered in mainland China in 2010 while searching for turquoise. Like turquoise, this stone must be stabilized before it can be cut and polished. It comes in muted warm shades of yellow, olive and sage greens, burnt red, tan and brown and often shows patterns that resemble a sunset. All jaspers are said to be stones of protection and grounding. Red Creek Jasper is also believed to promote happiness, tranquility, compassion, self-discipline, quick thinking and imagination. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft cloth and dry thoroughly before wearing or storing. Store in a soft cloth to protect from scratches. Jasper jewelry should be removed before activities that will induce heavy perspiration. Avoid exposure to prolonged high heat. This stone is porous so clean it promptly when soiled. Ultrasonic and steam cleaning methods may cause it to shatter.
