CAMUS, JE T'ADORE

Albert Camus, French philosopher, writer and journalist. He did not consider himself to be an existentialist and his views contributed to the rise of the philosophy known as absurdism. His whole life was devoted to opposing the philosophy of nihilism (which argues that life is without objective meaning, purpose, or intrinsic value), while still delving deeply into individual freedom. He won the Nobel Prize in Literature at the age of 44 (1957), the second-youngest recipient in history.
