Link in comments. | By Pickitz Crafts | Today, I'm going to show you how to make fabric sunflowers with these little wooden rings I got from Woodpeckers Crafts. I had some homespun in this dark brown which I'm using for the center of the flower. So, I just took my white pasta pen and I went around the outer part of the wooden round and then cut it out Then I just took some yellow homespun fabric I had and made three inch strips. And then I ended up cutting those three inch also. So you're going to have a square of three inch by three inch. And you're going to probably have 20 to 30 depending on how big a wooden ring you decide to use on this. I painted the wooden ring a dark brown and then I just sanded the top of it a little bit to give it a shabby look. And then I took my little rounds and added some hot glue to it add a little bit more and left an opening for the stuffing. And I just took little pieces of the fiber stuffing and put it in there. I kind of stuffed it pretty good. And then I just took some hot glue and closed it up. You just gotta be careful not to burn your fingers. I shoulda used a little rubber things for finger protection but I didn't and then I add a little bit of hot glue around the inside of the ring and then I just push that down in there. And then I start folding. Now you're going to fold it in half and then you're going to fold it in half again. And then you're going to fold it into a triangle. And then add some hot glue at the very tip of that triangle. And you're going to place that underneath the ring and you have to hold it for a few seconds. Till it gets glued pretty well. And you're going to just do it again. You're going to fold it in half, fold it in half again, and then fold it into a triangle. Add some glue to the tip and then place it underneath the wooden ring next to the last piece of fabric that you just put there and you're going to do that all the way around the entire until you can't get one more piece in there. And it get it makes it a very full beautiful flower and then I ended up just cutting off the excess and that's it. I hope you try it.
