I am obsessed with this new trend of painting over old thrift store art. And adding your own elements. So I did my first one! But it won't be the last! It was so much fun, and really got my creative juices flowing! And I surprised myself...I am NOT a painter, at all! but it's not half bad, for my first try. ;-)

I buy from thrift shops, yard sales or even salvage from the curb, unwanted art and give them renewed life. Most are prints or lithographs and paint by numbers-with the odd original. Any scratches or marks are carefully touched up and then my own visions are added.
