Finally I finish something outside of a Bunday! I was doing so well and then hit the home stretch and then just CRAWLED ever so slowly to completion.
Mona here is from a mobile game called Dislyte. I have a big soft spot for her, even though she gets tossed to the side very quickly as she the first unit you receive in the game. She’s adorable, and I LOVE her Moon Goddess costume!

I, uh, have fallen for Venom pretty hard. I have read zero Venom comics and while I am mildly interested in doing so, I also don’t want to at all. XD IN THE MEANTIME, I’m just going to make some bastard version of Venom based off the movie and the minor wiki-delving I’ve done. SO WEIRD making a chonky boi since kaiju!Newt is a skinny thing.

Time for another Bunday! The next Magic: The Gathering set has a new creature token type, Inkling, and boy did I have to get a bunny done for that! This is probably the first bunny token art I’ve done that draws some heavy inspiration from the actual token art. I was a bit lost at first on what to do, but I really liked the purple eyed ink creatures on the official tokens, so I rolled in that direction. And then I just got a bit to in to doing the value shading. Whoops.

Happy Bunday! I just wanted to draw a bunny with a knife. That’s it. So here is my bunny, Heisenberg, wielding a knife. Lop bunnies have the best “Don’t eff with me” faces ever. A little Sailor Uranus and Neptune that I started LAST YEAR during an online art camp I taught. Or it was for one of my weekly classes… I can’t remember exactly. We were talking about drawing chibis, and I wanted to show off how using photo reference can still be applied to something that’s drawn super stylized. Found a photo of two people dancing that seemed like a cute one for these two.
It’s BUNDAY and here’s a Lola Bunny! I just thought it would be funny to draw her after seeing people get huffy over her redesign for the new Space Jam movie. Female buns can get something called a dewlap! ‘Tis a pouch of fat they get under their chin, totally natural. When a female bun is nesting (either because she’s gonna have babies or is just hormonal), they will pull fur from their forelegs and dewlap area to use as material. Sooooooo…. I just gave Lola a big ole dewlap because she’s a bunny and that’s what she’d have!

Happy Bunday! So, I would have done a cute V-day bun, but I asked my nephews what bunny they’d want me to draw, and they said “A spooky bunny!” and well, I can’t say no to THAT. BUT, I wanted to keep it cool for a 6 and a 4 year old, so went with a classic movie monster. I present to you all, the Bunny from the Black Lagoon!
