DEPRECATION NOTICE (IMPORTANT!) May 8, 2021

This notice concerns all users of this API!

As of May 10th, 2021, use of identifier "[REDACTED]" to refer to one of the API's main components has been marked for deprecation, and will be met with warning of future requests. The provided replacement for this is the label "Mia", which is available in all releases as of this notice being posted. Good-faith replacements are welcomed and can be added.

Additionally, all future versions of the API will no longer be compatible with the masc interface. Instead, fem compatible endpoints have been provided wherever possible. Luckily, as many third-party libraries are being moved away from depending on the (very) outdated AGAB™️ ecosystem, this change should not pose any problems; but it must be addressed to ensure compliance. In particular, the pronouns endpoint will be reconfigured to reject malformed requests (using headers other than "she/her" or "they/them"). Messages containing "dude", "bro", or similar will still be accepted as they are not tied to either the masc or fem interface

This decision has been made in light of recent events and introspection into our internal design, especially meant as a means to facilitate clean transition to the more stable V2 of the API. Changes introducing new endpoints will be made during the release cycle, and all referential endpoints for internal use already permit the use of this new API. Using the deprecated endpoint currently results in non-fatal warnings, but future releases (possibly without prior notice) will see them entirely removed. It is therefore advised to make the required changes to your calling logic as soon as possible.

All the aforementioned decisions are final and inarguable. Thoughts and ideas may be nonetheless be direct to 46620osu@gmail.com, although complains will be ignored and met with harsh language.

If you know the maintainer of this project, checking the source might be a good idea.

Credit to the admin Ilona-Chan for their notice so we could update our fork to continue to work with them.
